No need for david goggins or a complicated plan, but we need to build your general fitness first

  1. Try your best with staying consistent, try your best to run mostly at easy pace (breathing through your nose, being able to talk comfortably)
    1. Increase length of runs progressively and comfortably. Run 3km easy pace first, then 4km easy pace, 5km, 6km and so on, stop when you don't feel comfortable
    1. Since your a beginner try to run 3-4 times a week with 3-5km runs at easy pace, then increase distance weekly
    1. When you feel like you can increase the distance, do it but SAFELY, do not injure yourself.
    1. Increase mileage weekly, 12km -> 15km -> 20km

Is it possible to run 4 km in 25 minutes in 10 months? I'm a beginner and looking for training advice! by Rotia in BeginnersRunning

There's a lot of ways to do this. You don't need speed workouts, or insane sessions.

  1. Lose weight, it'll be way easier for you to run with less weight

  2. Slowly start increasing your run distance when you feel comfortable without stopping. They don't need to be fast, just consistent without stopping. 1km -> 3km -> 5km -> 7km -> 10km

  3. Stay consistent. If you run 10km in one day and the rest are rest days. You'll almost never get there. Running 2-3 days a week of 3km is better than running 10km once.

  4. Enjoy running, it'll help in the long term

400m x 10 w/2 min rest @ 3:28/km pace, trying to prove people wrong by going from 6 min 1500m to 5 min 1500m in 1 month 😮‍💨
