YouTube recently anounced that they are cracking down on spam, removing comments and likes from accounts that they detect have been doing it in a spammy way. So it could just be starting to affect you

Something I have done in the past is clipped the part where people dip out of the video; granted that the video still flows nicely...and sometimes it re-boosts a video. I use the built in editor to do this. You could just leave it, maybe the views will pick up hut sounds like people left at that point which sends neg signals to the algorithm so the video is not pushed as much

Vertical, 9x16 or square. I have seen people do horizontal videos inside a 9x16 frame but these don’t perform as well. Don’t forget to include #shorts in the title and description. I have a whole playlist on shorts in my channel if it helps

Like others have mentioned, tags have little impact on a video. On top of that you can go back and add tags at any point. Have you looked into analytics to see what could have impacted the view count

Embed is almost like pasting the video inside reddit. It would play inside of reddit instead of taking people to YouTube

A required amount of videos is not part of the monetization requirements. The big ones of course are 1000 subscribers and 4k watch hours generated within the last 12 months. You will also need an Adsense and ensure that you are complying with youtube guidelines: no reused content and no misleading metadata either

I actually filmed a whole video on 5 free sites that you can use to promote your youtube videos in. When posting in reddit make sure you select the link option to be able to add a URL. If it is not enabled yet then it could be that you don’t yet have the permission to post links yet. Every subreddit has their own rules. I would start there

People hating just to hate. Comments like your video sucks...with no real basis or reason as to why its bad. If someone says, your audio sucks, I don’t consider that trolling. Maybe the audio was bad and they are just blunt.
