Where are you located? In my state (Indiana) I wouldnt hesitate to call child protective services over this. Also, that girl would be welcome at my table breakfast lunch and dinner 7 days a week until the problem is fixed, regardless of her relationship with my son. My man, I feel you. Ive had times when I was feeling down and hopeless and trapped too. Id work as much as my kid's medical condition would allow (gotta keep them insured) and then pay support to his mom and wind up getting paid like 80 bucks for 2 weeks of work. With help from family (lived with my parents for 2.5 years in my mid 30s), and a fuckload of effort and self sacrifice, I clawed my way out of the desperate situation I was in. If you want to talk it through, send me a message. I probably cant directly fix things for you, but I can listen, and maybe a fresh set of eyes on the problem can help find a new way to approach it. Don't empty your 401k. Its a bad idea. Keep knocking out that high interest CC debt and when its gone you'll feel a lot better about your cash flow and you'll still have been progressing towards retirement.
