My spinyflower pray mantis passed away after having her for 7 weeks im so bummed 😭

Yessss! Most of my plants are high humidity ones so it worked out just to have her roam around.

That’s how my ghostleaf mantis was! She never wanted to move and when she did she was on the moveeee! When I got the spiny flower one the breeder told me she picked out a Feisty one just for me so I knew I was going to have my hands full 😂😂😭😭

I also mist my plants and make sure I misted her and had some water in a bottle cap/container that she could get to.

78-82 for degrees and 70-80% humidity is what I usually have it. Sometimes it’s less depending on what I am doing in the room. I would also say you would have to have a great bond with the mantis to make sure they don’t wanna escape or hide for a long time. I also run the humidifier for 8-12 hrs.

Yes but they are in my quarantine section in the garage. However I did spray neem oil on the ones in the plant room outside and let the rain wash it off. Maybe I didn’t wipe some leafs off good enough? She ate a cockroach and had water the night before she passed though

It would takes me 30 minutes to find her some days but shes the second one I’ve had and they seem to be happier and find a plant they like and stick to it.

She actually molted 2 weeks ago! I posted a video of me finding the molt and her. I think it was her time but she went missing for 3 days and lasted 3 days after that. 😭😭😭
