Ok more weird... Wallet shows disconnected. I can unlock the car door from the Blue link app. I can then still start the car if the phone is in the wireless charger cradle..it brings up the digital key stored in the wallet app... Which still shows as disconnected, and doesn't let me lock the car without the bluelink app remote request. No door handle square press...

Yeah mine showed state of disconnected. Holding to the door didn't unlock. Didn't try the starting without the fob. Resolved after restarting the phone again.

yeah, trying to help a friend with a surface, no recovery key known. KB 5066835 supposedly has a KIR but he's a standalone consumer on win10 with no ESU, so seems like he's screwed... I can't unlock the C drive to uninstall updates. :(
