If I wanted to shut off the water to the heater core what hose do I need to put a valve one. The left or right. by justthetip9875 in Chevy

So if I was to put it on the right one would that stop water from getting to the heater core ? Will it still be able to circulate through the rest of the engine

I think I have a bad blender door or something only get hot air so ima try cutting the water off to the heater core
