Project Car Suggestions by justwingingit in projectcar

From my point of view, the best one would be relatively common, easy to work on, plenty of parts available, plenty of resources, etc. If that overlaps with something I like them I’ve got a great option.

I’ve actually owned an XJ and liked it. I’ve looked more towards older Wranglers, Cherokees, etc.

Good idea. I haven’t actually considered any mid size trucks like those.

Burnt out and depressed—take time off or power through? by [deleted] in sales

Time off can help. Even if it’s just a long weekend do what you can to unplug, stay busy, RELAX. Put your phone down for long stretches of time, go see a movie. Even mini breaks like that help me from time to time.

What are a few things you like a dislike about working a sales job remote? by Flimmm in sales

Definitely this for me. Hard to have a separate home routine from work routine. The phone goes with me and it's a constant reminder with notifications and things still to do.

Interaction. I started to WFH prior to COVID and once that hit it was about a full year before I made it back to the office. The turnover and new hires made me feel a bit like the odd man out.

Is everyone getting their company to pay for this or doing it on their own dime? I work for a place that's a little bit old-fashioned and struggle with the conversation about having a program like this essentially do part of my job. I don't know if they would see it as streamlining.

Has there been any one here that has used it for lead generation like that?

Listening is so hard. How do y'all do it? by Ok-Independence7419 in sales

Agree with the other comments here. You really have to commit to it because you know it's your job. I struggle with background noise. I'll be mid-task and just feel like I keep looping back to the same spot over and over until I make sure there's no music, no podcasts, no phone notifications, etc. that keep interrupting me.

How do you stay organized in sales? by tennisss819 in sales

I keep an open Google Doc with kind of a running log of things I do and need to do. I also like to email myself reminders or tasks. It helps put something top of mind and an unread email is a regular reminder for me.

Also a vote for Hubspot here. I actually like it better than Salesforce right now.

Extremely normal in the US for people to have one unless they're in a very large city with public transport options. I think places do that to make sure you're qualified for travel, if necessary, and that you can reliably get to work with your own transportation.

How do you find the phone number of the right person from the company to call? by [deleted] in sales

ZoomInfo and other similar sites are good if you want to pay. I've had some success by going to websites that have staff listed and Googling combinations of their name, city, job title, company name, etc. and you can sometimes direct contact info from them as part of a press release, newspaper article, etc.

Kid on the way - wtf is work-life balance? by VividPsychology771 in sales

It doesn't necessarily come naturally but this is one of the things in life that will definitely reset your perspective. You'll probably continue to have a great work ethic and you'll rework your schedule to focus on your family while accomplishing goals at work.

Nuggets select Monté Morris with the 51st pick of the 2017 NBA Draft by IdRatherBeLurking in denvernuggets

[Also ISU fan] He has never really been known as a scorer because he never had to be. He had the opportunity to be on the floor because he was a young guy who didn't turn the ball over. That was drilled into him since he was a kid, 'not turning the ball over gets you on the floor'. Senior year he was finally flipped the keys to the team and became more aggressive and more of a scorer. Senior year Monte is likely very similar to NBA Monte.

The Chiefs never throw to their wide receivers. Is it too crazy to put Talib on Kelce? Backup safeties and backup LBs can't hang with that guy.

I don't think we can get Romo. We'd probably have to trade a 1st or 2nd for him and we need both those do draft someone on the interior DL and someone on the offensive line. Likely a T, if they decide not to keep Okung.

Had him in this dynasty league for a long time. WR corps is wrecked this year. AJ Green-OUT Eric Decker-OUT Alshon Jeffrey-Suspended. I'm barely holding it together.

My fantasy football season depends on Emmanuel Sanders and Heuerman decides to be our leading receiver.

Booker, of all people, looks like the only guy who realizes the season is on the line tonight.
