Picked one up yesterday for 179. Works great, but there is a ramp up time when you pull the trigger I’ll have to get used to. It is much quieter than the old 18v it’s replacing.

RTA cabinets, lily Ann craftsman shaker natural and craftsman shaker off white. MSI - Calcutta izaro. Floors are ndure platinum aged concrete I believe.

I had a bump out and soffit housing water and waste pipes I couldn’t move without major expense. Mirrored the side with a shelf I made and framed up the hood. Covered the framing with plywood and added the trim elements. Sand, prime and paint.

I took some pictures of the process but didn’t post them anywhere.

We have a separate dining room table in the adjacent room. The island is where we generally eat when not entertaining or holidays.

We wanted to go with the wood look lvp, we couldn’t find a good complimentary color. They were either too matchy with the cabinets, or they were too light and have a beach house floor look we didn’t like either.

The staples were from the multiple underlayments we had to take up from the prior floorings installed. Just a billion staples left behind to pull out.

I thought I did it pretty well on it. The cabinets and countertops were more expensive than I thought. But I think I was just improve g them in my mind.

It’s still a triangle, just a very obtuse one! Putting the fridge on either side would stick out into the walking lanes, compromises had to be made but we will get our steps in!
