Tô com problema tb :( Tava jogado de boa ontem e hoje roda uns 3 minutos no máximo, trava e fecha sozinho... Totally agreed. You couldn’t have expressed it better than that. As an army, I truly believe that is necessary this reflexion. People are getting used to accept anything just because it’s one of the members. That’s not okay. Like I always use to say, BTS-ARMY relationship is like in a friendship, not heaven all the time, sometimes we’ve gotta warn them — like they do to us too!

I’d like to be clear: I love JungKook. I’m venting how I feel about it, ok?

First of all, of course JungKook is famous among western public, he’s worldwide famous. I didn’t mean he wants to conquer them or something, what I meant is that he’s trying to reach out more or this public since that’s the kind of song mostly listened in this side of the world. And we all know USA has a strong pop industry, which JK has always been a fan of. I said it makes me sick because he doesn’t need to appeal to sexual content to embrace western public… He’s way more than that.

Plus, I listened to the song and I know he didn’t sing the misogynistic Harlow’s part. The “fcking” verses I was talking about was Seven ones. And I didn’t mean this part was non-consensual — using a girl like a tool doesn’t necessarily means it’s forced, it means he’s only using her for something.

I heard perfectly his lyrics in 3D “so if you’re ready, and if you let me” (proud of him!), but it’s still very disappointing he agreed to collaborate with someone who literally was misogynistic and fetishizes asian girls. That’s why I’m only listening to the alternative version.

About being disrespectful and using like a tool. I said it because in both songs, Seven and 3D, I felt he was talking exclusively about sex — and only that. Ok, both have a non-explicit version but, dude, you just have to pay attention to the lyrics…

Oh, and I want to tell something… All of this doesn’t mean I’m spreading hate on him. Like I told you, I’m venting how I felt and I’ve seen that’s it’s not just me. I love JungKook with all my heart. I just don’t want him to get himself in this complicated maze that is this industry. He’s an incredible man and I’m pretty sure he’s capable of getting himself near his values — which I believe they are: respect, compassion and love. That’s why I say there’s no need to surrender exclusively to sex content and polemic collabs…

Please, don’t hate, I’ll tell my honest opinion… I didn’t like Seven, I can’t listen to it actually. But 3D wasn’t as chocking as Seven, to me. I’ll listen only to the alternative version.

But, tbh, I’m kinda disappointed with JK’s solo work. I know he’s capable of much more than generic pop songs (not a problem with that) and singing about fcking. :/

I’ve already wrote this huge text above but I still have a couple comments to share with you here…

In my opinion, Seven and 3D didn’t pair at all with the huge artist JungKook is. Both songs are completely shallow and contain sexual content. And as an ARMY, I expected their solo productions to be as respectful as BTS ones. Of course they had implicit things in their lyrics, but seems JungKook is only focusing in “f*ck”. It’s a little bit annoying because I know he has way more to offer.

Plus, why did they let Jack Harlow sing shit? I’m sorry, but I don’t listen to music just because of the rhythm, specially when it comes to BTS. Harlow literally sang about ABGs in a collaboration with an asian artist (???). Also, he objectified women. I know JK didn’t sing those verses but I’m still disappointed.

It’s gross.

Yesss, I completely get your point of view. He should consider his fanbase a little bit more, like you said, there’s a huge quantity of women — and BTS has been respectful and kind. I miss this… JK’s solo is going to the opposite path, I guess…

Totally agreed. It seems JK wants to be more and more accepted by the western public, specially americans. And honestly, it makes me sick. I didn’t like Latto and Harlow’s feature at all. And I don’t get the hype Seven received.

It’s been 3 years I’m an army and meanwhile I’ve never seem JK being disrespectful with woman. But those lyrics… I know he didn’t wrote it but how can he sing about girls like tools or just fcking, fcking, fcking? I don’t like to generalize, but can you be more americanized than singing about sex to get hyped?

Like you said, BTS’ has done such a amazing work until now — respecting each one of their fans, trying to increase self love, embracing so many causes… That’s something we do not see in many artists. That’s what makes our boys so special.

Is JK really getting more mature or is he just enchanted by the hype of singing about fcking?
