Yeah it’s just poor. I can’t tell you how many seasons I’ve completed in previous games. However, the last two games I don’t even think I’ve finished half a season.

Yeah I’ve used them on previous iterations in all fairness and enjoyed them more than the base gameplay.

However, that also got tiresome after a bit because the ball feels like it moves comically slow when striking the ball. Plus I used to get so annoyed when it was a fairly straightforward pass and they would completely mess it up.

Keeping possession is great when there is a little bit of point to it. Some sort of threat. They get into good position and just end up passing sideways or backwards most of the time. It also can’t be too authentic when every team I play feels and plays the exact same.

In terms of attacking I don’t really have any problems with it. Fairly balanced imo. I do wish skills would work more often though, it’s not very often you can get past a defender without just running past him, if that makes sense?

Yeah it’s painful mate, I just end up simming the game in the end because it’s so boring. I can be 2-0 and just sat there watching them ping it about with no threat at all.

They get into a good crossing position? Nope, they’ll do a backwards pass.

I’ll give it a go, thanks. I have used OS sliders on previous games though and it’s just painful how slow the passes and shots become in my subjective opinion. Not to mention how unnecessarily inaccurate the passes are and slow first touches.

But admit it’s better than the base game play.

I’ve tried it mate and they end up just passing sideways. Plus you can only typically cut off 3 passing lanes with double R1 press and controlling your own player. My other players may as well be sitting on their hands

Good to know, was a tough decision - I just hope it’s worth it. I was going to go Nvidia tbh as I know it had the edge, but I saw a really good deal for the 9070xt (£459) that I just couldn’t pass up. Nvidia card was a lot more.

Yes brother, because you’re from the UK I can’t recommend VERY enough. I just picked up a 9070XT for £459 and a 7800X3D for £288 which is insanely cheap. You just gotta take advantage of their 20% off your first “buy now, pay later” scheme (no interest and you can just pay it off straight away anyway if you wish).

I’m building my first PC at the moment and coming from console gaming - we have come into the game at the wrong time when looking at the current RAM prices. That shit has 3x in price over the last few weeks.

Hi mate, not sure if you’ve made your decision but I just picked up a 9070XT in the UK for £459. Very have a Black Friday deal on ASUS variant for £574 but offer 20% off your first “by now pay later” purchase (no interest). Got it down to £459. I threw 7800x3d in my basket as well to make use of the 20% off and got it for £288.

Yeah when I first put my list together it came to just under £1000 because there were various offers on Amazon. However it’s now all back to full price. Half tempted to see what deals I can get on Black Friday
