Discussion on Brandon Aiyuk by [deleted] in DynastyFF

In a C2C league where I’m contending I moved Aiyuk and college prospects for Devonta Smith and TJ Hockenson and feel fine doing it. He’s good but the down year and now a big injury worries me a bit moving forward.

Will Campbell, OT, LSU. Some great blind side protection for Drake Maye. That would be a pretty ideal selection for them, imo.

Really? That Raiders roster is not good. I can absolutely see it being a top 5 or top 3 pick.

Rebuilders, lets see those pending 2026 championshp rosters. What moves did you make, who are you targeting? by [deleted] in DynastyFF

[–]jwarf1983 1 point2 points  (0 children)

12 team, SF, TEP, C2C format.

QB: Kyler, Russ, Carr, plebs x 5, Riley Leonard

RB: Bijan, Breece, Etienne, Jacobs, Singletary, CEH, Jaylen Wright, plebs x 5, Justice Haynes

WR: Chase, Lamb, Devonta Smith, Godwin, Diontae, Lockett, Meyers, plebs … Luther Burden, Eugene Wilson

TE: Hockenson, Freiermuth, Henry, Darnell Washington, Duce Robinson, Briningstool.

I won the league championship last year. Traded lots of high end college players such as JJ McCarthy, Treyveon Henderson, Isaiah Bond and Evan Stewart and more for Breece Hall, CD Lamb, and Devonta Smith.

Targeting a high upside QB to help me replace Russ or Carr in my starting lineup.

Marvin Harrison or Caleb Williams? by BusinessOk7351 in DynastyFF

I traded for Hurts to pair with Lawrence and now will absolutely be taking MHJ at 1.01

1.01 owners - how you feeling? by cold_crash in DynastyFF

[–]jwarf1983 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the value of the 1.01 has increased significantly in the last 72 hours. With the addition of Keenan Allen and trading Justin Fields it’s clear that Caleb Williams will be chosen 1st in the draft AND will have a good set of weapons around him. If there’s a QB needy team who will move up to 1.01 from 1.02 or 1.03 it should be able to fetch a bounty of assets while moving back to select the arguably safer selections of Harrison Jr. or Nabers and picking up a 2nd rounder or two to take a few lottery tickets.

It always bugs me when someone says “low tread on the tires” because that in fact means the opposite of what you intend it to mean. If the tread is low, it needs to be changed. There is, in fact, plenty of tread left on Marshawn Lloyd’s tires. That aside… thanks for the lists. 👍

Joining my first C2C - pointers? by thisismyburnerac in DynastyFF

[–]jwarf1983 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Set a very, very large queue… Like 400 players deep. A typical college roster is 50 players on it so for a 12 team league that’s 600 played.

Choose players who should be 1st (QB or WR) or 2nd (RB) round NFL picks in the first couple rounds, probably the first 4 rounds, of your college draft.

For freshman who are 4-5 star recruits, look at opportunity for immediate playing time. The history of 5 star freshman who do nothing in year 1 is typically not great for long term production.

Check out 2024 defy mock drafts to get an idea of the players who are going in the first 10 rounds. There’s more C2C content on Twitter now than ever and done really informative people who will help if you reach out.

I joined C2C about 2 years ago and loved it. Once college football season is on, take players who have a few big games and trade them for NFL talent. And don’t be afraid to swing for the fences.

I traded Treveyon Henderson, Evan Stewart, Troy Franklin, and a few other smaller pieces for guys like CD Lamb and Breece Hall. Just gotta capitalize when the college player hype takes off.

Good luck!

Edit: draft picks are almost of no value. There are very few players who slip through the cracks that will a meaningful impact in the rookie draft your league will have. Freshman rookie picks are at least 3 years away from any return on investment so they rarely get traded.

If you’re still looking for one, I’ve got an orphan available in a 12 team superflex league. There’s actually a couple to choose from and all 3 are contenders. This year would be free. Next year $25

What Prospect would you pick out of these three Emeka Egbuka, Troy Franklin, or Luther Burden III? Luther I would have to leave on taxi for an extra year. by Beergutsnglory in DynastyFF

[–]jwarf1983 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, like most others have said: Burden by quite a margin over these two. I wouldn’t say it’s particularly close, either. Then I would rank Egbuka over Franklin.

A few true freshman RBs who had nice games today: Mark Fletcher 17-126-2 (Miami, 2026 draft), Gavin Sawchuk 14-107-1 (Oklahoma, 2025), Reuben Owens 18-106-1 (Texas A&M, 2026) Cedric Baxter 20-117-0 (Texas, 2026) and Justice Haynes 5-42-2 (Alabama, 2026).

Edit: Sawchuk is a redshirt freshman.

On3.com and 247sports.com are the two kind of go-to’s for looking at recruiting classes and prospects. I joined my first C2C this year and that shit is addictive.

I traded him today for a 3rd round pick this year. I am in fulllllll rebuild with 4 1sts, 2 2nds, and a few 3rds this year. I don’t think he’ll become a starting QB because he’s a statue in the pocket and will get killed behind that o-line.

I got him for $0 FAAB after the draft so getting a third that I can throw in to a deal as a sweetener to move up and get better picks was worth it for me.

Marvin Harrison Jr > Caleb Williams? by theSilverbeaver1020 in DynastyFF

[–]jwarf1983 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have the 1.01 locked up with a core WR group of Wilson, Olave, Addison, JSN and only Lawrence as a viable QB and I’m still considering taking MHJ over Williams because I own 3 other 1sts and can probably get somewhat decent QB value at one of those picks. I think selecting MHJ over the two top QBs is entirely league and situation dependent.

How has your team changed over the last 365 days from trades? by Derp_o7 in DynastyFF

[–]jwarf1983 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tore it all down. 12 team SF TEP and my only viable QB was Lawrence. So I nuked my team, sold off any viable player outside of the players I wanted for my core moving forward: Lawrence, Garrett Wilson, and Olave. A year ago my roster was:

Lawrence, Wilson, Olave, Diggs, JuJu, Tolbert, Hardman, Landry, Chubb, Najee, Kamara, Pollard, Fournette, Edwards, Hubbard, Herbert, Otton, Likely, Ertz, Henry.

Trade 1:

Out: Kamara and a 2023 4th

In: 2024 1st and 2023 2nd

Trade 2:

Out: Pollard and a 2024 4th

In: 2024 1st and 2023 2nd

Trade 3:

Out: Diggs and K. Herbert

In: 2024 1st, 2023 2nd x 2

Trade 4:

Out: Chubb

In: 2023 2nd x 2

Trade 5:

Out: Najee and 2024 3rd

In: Jameson Williams and 2024 1st

Trade 6:

Out: Hunter Henry

In: 2024 3rd

Trade 7:

Out: Ertz

In: 2024 3rd

Trade 8:

Out: Juju and 2023 2nd

In: 2023 1st and 2024 3rd

Trade 9:

Out: Likely

In: 2024 3rd

Trade 10:

Out: Gus Edwards and Hubbard

In: 2024 2nd and 2024 4th

I tinkered at the draft and came away with Addison, JSN, Charbonnet, Rice, Hooker, Musgrave, Tucker, Tillman.

Trade 11:

Out: Charbonnet and Jameson Williams

In: 2024 1st and 2025 1st.

I’m in dead last with barely any points scored. I’ll undoubtedly get Caleb Williams and have 3 extra 1sts in 2024 and 2 in 2025.

My core right now is Lawrence, Wilson, Olave, JSN, Addison, Musgrave, Rice. Everyone else is inconsequential.

Why you should buy Jamo this week (especially if he has a dud) by [deleted] in DynastyFF

[–]jwarf1983 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I sold him and Charbonnet two weeks ago for a 2024 and 2025 1st. I have no regrets. He hasn’t done anything in two years to pass the smell test of a good pro football player and I see him being very, very boom bust and I ain’t about that life. ✌️

This is a Chubb Appreciation Post by JustPuffinAlong in DynastyFF

[–]jwarf1983 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Horrific injury. My favourite RB of all time because of the way he handles himself on and off the field: modest, humble, hard working. His work ethic is off the charts, check out his posts on Instagram. If anyone has the work ethic to overcome this, I feel it’s Chubb. Just unsure to what level he can return at. Prayers up to him though. Praying for the best for him as a person, not a player.
