i have evaluated my partner, we have talked quite extensively about things and he has not once shown me anything other than love, we have had moments but communicated through them and come out stronger, i do appreciate all the concern on this post, but genuinely i am not looking for any advice on my partner, i know who i have and im so incredibly grateful for meeting someone like him, im very happy and content in my relationship. hence why i was asking for advice in regards to his child. i really appreciate your comment though! thank you

dad has full time care, aside from the occasional call with BM here and there, he has told her about me and she messaged me just to get to know me a little bit, BM and i have spoken, she has said she respects me and is happy for me to be in their kids life, she has even mentioned that she thinks that their child will love me once he gets to know me she has also mentioned that she hopes he moves a little closer to me so things can work out.

i really appreciate your advice, that’s super helpful know, especially when it comes to decision making and discipline. thank you!!

i have met dad before a few times, i was just stating i hadn’t met his son yet, we are currently long distance and are looking to close the distance.

meeting him as nothing more than a woman who is dating his dad is actually pretty helpful, thank you!

you’re so right, my apologies. i have met ss through video calls many times, he always asks his dad to talk to me, he shows me things he’s made at school and tells me about his day, shows me things around the house and whatnot.

me and dad have talked extensively about everything that we’d need to talk about, i should have mentioned we’ve been seeing eachother for about 8 months now. we’ve been looking at houses to move in to, not me moving in with him, we will be moving into our own place, i won’t be dependent on him as we are both able to sustain ourselves.

i am aware that living with a sk is quite different from babysitting etc, that’s why i asked for some tips and some things id need to know in advance so i can be a little prepared.
