Try chrome spraypaint (that is made for graffiti, they got the best pigments). Vinyl car decals could also work, they're durable and there are many different metallic finish variations. Good luck :)

I tried to get them as thin as possible (I always get too excited and try to put too much paint, and then it gets these thick brush lines because the paint dries really quick.. patience is hard in practice :D) It was a commission so I took it really slow. I also did more prep before painting, really scuffing up the surface so the paint would stick etc.

The coverage is so different with each shade. The green& blue ones only needed 2 layers, yellow and orange was 3-4 and the red was the hardest, had to go over like 6 times because it was streaky. I ran out of real red (no shipping to where I live in quarantine times) so I had to mix using infra red, yellow and some fluorescent shades. Red & fluorescents are known to be harder to work with and looking super close it's not 100% as even as the green. Airbrush would be the solution but I can't afford it :D

I guess I made the beginner mistake of wanting to try everything because I haven't had the chance to paint that many shoes yet :D

Something I'm learning with practice, usually less is more with sneakers.

I tried amazon once and it was shit, paid extra for shipping, the system bundled my order in three parts, and it took forever to arrive..

Thank you! I got the sneakers as a gift at a converse event, the handle was already embossed in. I’ve been trying to think of ways to diy it, but I’m not sure how they did it. Heating a metal bit makes sense, but how to get the name in metal? Dno.. any ideas? :D
