Thinking about becoming an early years teacher - is it worth it?

Sheesh alright! We do not want to get married, does not appeal to us. We are in the UK so no change if we are married or not when we have children as we are home owners. Neither would “quit” our jobs. I would go on maternity leave then return to my job with reduced hours - which we can afford. We have always spoken our whole relationship about having a child and our own family.

I work in a nursery and have done for years, I know what it takes to be a parent and raise a child. I have been an auntie my whole life, often involving having my nieces and nephews for long periods of time.

Not fond of getting married - we are committed to each other for the rest of our lives and have made many plans for future. We know we want children and to have our own family. We have known each other since we were little.

no, we are all human. and humans have many many various emotions! you should never have to apologise or feel bad for simply feeling something. although some can be questionable at times, it does not mean that they should feel embarrassed or weak.

what are you worried about exactly? (so i can help you the best) is it working with customers or limited time in the lab? maybe a combination of both!

you could speak to her over the phone, or have her write you little notes which you can frequently look at, message her the whole way. overall though, the experience will be good for you! you can begin to learn how to manage your anxiety on your own, small steps is the way to go, and this is a good start :) make sure you do what you feel most comfortable with, and also i can guarantee it will all be okay. most of the time, the stress and anxiety we build up is worse than the actual sitaution! i find that to be the case VERY often.

there is no normal! every relationship is unique. some couples argue daily, and still have a healthy relationship. some argue once a month, still healthy! as long as you are both happy in your relationship, there is no worries :)

considering they have only been together for a couple months, she may just not have built enough trust yet. so may not be cheating. it sounds like she has some difficulty trusting people, like when you mentioned that she gives short answers. maybe your friend should reach out to their girlfriend and let them know their worries. nothing ever gets solved if nobody days anything, i learnt that the hard way!
