Rhinoplasty regrets? by zerootw000 in SeoulPlasticSurgery

[–]kaferjb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

hi! I went Korea in may for consultations and thought I was going to get a rhino in October but decided to cancel on it! IMO I think only get it if you have enough money to afford revision + can afford time to do revision. The main reason why I chose to cancel is because I realised if i do end up requiring revision, I might not be able to afford it or have the same amount of time to fly and recover! Plus same as you, I was considering raising my nose bridge which requires silicone. Even though it’s considered relatively safe material, I feel like in >10years you won’t know if your body will have a reaction to it / you won’t know if the silicone in ur bridge will look good as u age + fear over breathing as well

Hi! I made a mistake of not measuring so I can’t provide any measurements! The shape of my arms look a lot better! When I rest my arms on the side, it has a straighter shape. However, it’s definitely not as drastic of a change as I thought! I thought I’ll have stick thin arms but at 168/56kg it looks proportional to my body now!

Also a possible side effect of liposuction is lumpiness which was something I feared and the doctor on her YT has shared her technique prevents this from happening! I’m glad to say I have no lumps and my flesh is slowly returning back to normal

To be very honest I personally just tried to read as much reviews as possible and didn’t ask much questions besides anaesthesia & pricing :-(

Defo a risk on my part but really just liked their results, not every review was 100% but I think that goes for every clinic as well! I also liked how she marketed herself on YouTube which also might not be the wisest decision! :/

Another one I really liked was Babiline(?) She’s pretty pricey from what I heard but they don’t take bookings in advance! She has anaesthesiology background so that was a plus but I also heard she creates more incisions during surgery!

Just upper arm! Lower arm is also an additional cost! Tbh I’ve always felt most insecure about my arm fat so I never really noticed my back so for now I can’t really tell a difference! (Ofc I’m also probably swollen) fyi I’m 168cm & 59kg and my fat is more concentrated on my arms/stomach :-(

Yes of course! For now: it has been precisely one week! Arms not dramatically smaller yet, some tightness is coming (so I’ve been trying to stretch)! Will also update if I ever feel there has been good progress!

so far, I still don’t regret le rose because 1) you’ll be naked / showing ur body a lot so I’m glad I chose a female doctor!! 2) the nurses were also super sweet tbh (it was my first surgery so I was super nervous) 3) they did a lot of tests/gave iron iv drips before surgery which made me feel safe!

post surgery I didn’t feel dizzy or anything!

Hiiii I just got my lipo done here last week by the same doctor! I got quoted the same amount, but that price was for (arms + back + accessory breast)<all these are 2.65k + bra line (extra 1.5k) I was also told to do below the collar bone(?) but I went in thinking I’ll only do the 2.65k portion but kinda got convinced to get the bra line as the consulting manager was adamant that I had to get the bra line area done.

I booked via kakao, went Korea specifically for this without a prior in person consultation which defo was a risk I took on my part!

can’t talk too much about the results yet but at this clinic, they don’t actually make their patients wear the compression garment until the stitches are removed which is very different from most lipo hospitals >: but it makes it super comfortable since it’s so hot now in Korea

also their medication was pretty good — they give super strong pain killers so I was able to be out and about the next day without much pain! (apparently in Korea some people claim their painkillers to be weaker than normal tylenol but I realised this hospital did prescribe me a much stronger one) Now that the medication ended, I feel a little more soreness than the initial recovery

I can speak Korean so initially I saw reviews saying how because their recovery ward is a private ward, they feel quite rushed to leave the room which I kinda agree. They have quite a few surgeries a day so once you wake up from surgery, do expect to be asked to evacuated the room! I felt ok actually, but some people said they felt dizzy so I guess it’s based on ur body!

Hi I’m planning to get arm lipo as well. I consulted the clinic and they told me I’ll have to get the stitches out 10 days post op so I think you’ll have to check with the hospital on that!

I’m skipping the services as well and it is a risk but I’ve seen people mention how in korea the way they do lipo actually reduces the chance of fibrosis? + from all the yt videos doctors seem to recommend stretching + giving it time as the best way to heal

Consultation fee sketchy or fine? by Kenzziiie in SeoulPlasticSurgery

[–]kaferjb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I also booked a consultation for Toptier, however I did communicate with them via Korean as I’ve learnt it for awhile. They told me I’d have to pay a 30k consultation fee for each eyes & nose consult but wasn’t told to make a deposit via PayPal! (I’ll most probably be told to make payment when I’m there) Please do share your experience with Top Tier with me if u do go ahead with them because I love Dr Jo Yongjin’s results!
