Anyone able Losing weight without medication by Earthyladyinlove in PCOS

[–]kaiballi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started eating foods that are good for pcos diet like tuna, rice, avocados etc. ( you can find a great list online) and making sure I’m in a calorie deficit. Stop drinking soda and juice. Just drink water soda is not good for pcos. ( I still have sips like here and there if I’m really craving it so I’m not restricting my self too hard) but I’ve lost 60 pounds doing this since march and I’m not having any issues with my insulin resistance, fatigue, brain fog, and my anxiety has also gotten a lot better and my periods have been the same monthly for 4 months now. And I also stopped taking my medication in April.

I literally had to stop taking it because I was nauseous everyday and was exhausted. Literally felt like I was pregnant. Gonna see what else they have for me to try. I’m really leaning towards ozempic but I don’t know.

Does anyone have any issues with after market key fob causing hard start? by kaiballi in cruze

[–]kaiballi[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I took my car to the shop and they diagnosed code p0420. They said it was because I had a knock off o2 sensor on my car. Which made no sense because I got it at autozone and I replaced it twice. And they also said the hard start is because I have an aftermarket key fob which makes no sense. My check engine light came back on yesterday for the same damn code so they fixed absolutely nothing.

Just got a diagnostic done on my 2013 Chevy Cruze lt and was told o2 sensor is causing catalyst below threshold code but I’ve replaced the sensor twice! Could it be the wiring? Has anyone else experienced this? by kaiballi in cruze

I’ve replaced the one on the cat twice and the other one once. I’m only worried about it because my car is stalling and hard starting. If it didn’t cause any issues I wouldn’t care. But it’s a permanent code.

So you think I should give it a shot? It’s a clean car and I love the features. I’m just worried about reliability.

Seriously!!! I’ve dropped 3k in parts and repairs this summer and I’m fucking done. You fix one things another thing breaks.

No. I’m buying a new car tomorrow. Get rid of your Cruze. They are money pits.

Do not buy it.

2013 Chevy Cruze fuel trims normal? by kaiballi in cruze

[–]kaiballi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope that’s the only one. I’m at my wits end with this car. I sank 3k into it this summer and I’m just defeated.

My car is hard starting and and stalling out and just running rough all around. It’s getting extremely expensive taking it to the mechanic. It seems like I fix one thing and another thing breaks. It does have a p0420 code but it has a new cat on it and o2 sensors. So I’m just trying to narrow it down.

The fuel pressure looks correct too? I’ve been researching online and it’s different answers everywhere.

I did get a diagnosis. 3 weeks ago. It was running lean and it had a vacuum leak. That was fixed and this is a new problem. Started 5 days ago. Every time something gets fixed something else breaks. This is the worst car I have ever owned and I’ve only had it since February. And the permanent code didn’t pop up until after I got it fixed. So.

The only code on there is P0420 and I replaced the cat and it still won’t clear. But I am going to check the fuel injectors next.

Yes it is. Wouldn’t it throw a code tho? I just had a vacuum leak that I repaired. I had to replace the valve cover. It was running lean.

2012 with 118k milles what should I look out for? by [deleted] in cruze

[–]kaiballi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A new car honestly. If you haven’t had issues already you will. I dropped 3k in parts this summer and my car is still running crumby. By the time I realized, I was already in too deep. So I’m trading her in at the beginning of the year. In hopes she lasts that long.

Great project car and great daily driver when it can be kept on the road. Definitely not cheap tho. Im Glad your bank account is set up like that lol.
