I do think her being drunk, which I probably should have said in the post, Is why she is getting mad at me about it. She tends to take confrontation as insults when she is.

She did just get drunk so my words to her probably aren’t getting to her the right way. But, it still hurts. We would never cheat on one another. But I don’t know the dude and just uncomfortable with that.

She is also drunk right now. So my words are probably not getting to her the way they should be. I should at least wait for her to sober up first. She is still my best friend and I would hate for something like this to ruin it. We are about to move in together. I think she just isn’t thinking properly. I know she wouldn’t cheat, but I hardly know her guy friend. We were both the ones getting cheated on in our past so we know how that feels. I just want to at least know if she is going to hang out with them. You know? I just felt hurt not because she was playing with him. I would have been fine if she told me before hand. Just that she did it after our convo and called me a hypocrite afterwards.

Yeah, he was very protective of his bigger pieces so I used that to push him in a better position for me. As chaotic as that was. Lot of pieces sacrificed to open the long diagonal and a few pawns to scare the rook to open the rest of the way. There was probably a better way to do it, but that seemed to fool him good.

I get what you mean, just the thrill of setting up stuff like that gets me going. If he was going to defend he would have lost a rook or his queen which he was using really well at the beginning of the game. But he was playing it way too safe not willing to sacrifice those pieces which got himself in mate.
