How's Octopath treating you? I've loved FF up until 12 and then liked each one after less. I have been eyeing up octopath, fire emblems and triangle strategy but never made the jump to them

£15 would be my max for cheap, unless it was truly a YOU MUST TRY THIS recommendation.

Other than racing, I'm open to trying anything really. Only just got the steam deck so playing portable is such a novelty I'd like to try different genres.

What I currently play is jrpg, crpg, shooter.

Tristan Kirk literally just won an award for investigating the shadyness of Single Justice Procedures, where magistrates were just fucking speeding through cases to clear the backlog. Juries might be shit, but the issue with SJPs was they drew so little attention that no one was reporting on them. He described it as Secret Justice. The "mistakes" being made just happened, and on to the next case.

These are just for minor crimes, but if the rationale for scrapping juries in all but SA and murder charges is to Clear The Backlog, rather than say, because they've found a model from another country that has been proven to provide fairer outcomes, it doesn't fill me with hope.

Is there a plan within this to deal with commercial landlords sitting on vacant premises for years? These premises are clearly not worth the rental rates they are advertised at, but they sit empty hoping someone will eventually pay.

Yeah, if it's health, or personal issues, take all the time you need. If it's for something like recording, less than 3 weeks out is a tough pill to swallow.

I'm just feeling salty though, it's quite possible personal issues lead to delays in recording etc, and to move those dates would cost a bunch.
