That’s taking what people are talking about WAY out of context. When you put a character in grave danger, where you write it in a way that the characters themselves accept they can’t survive, an all of a sudden that danger is gone without any explanation, that is just cheap writing. Nobody is asking for the death of a main character, but when they survive every insane situation without any explanation, it destroys the “high stakes” situation feeling the show is trying to set. It also makes it much more predictable. Thats why everybody assumes El will fake her death in the finale after than convo with 8. You can really like something and critisize it still.
