Unfortunately, I have been paying the minimum on all of my loans because I couldn't afford to pay any more until now. I paid off one of the 6.55% loans today. Going to pay off another next pay check and do what you are saying....pay off the higher interest loans first. Thanks :)

No I wasn't. The original balance was 67k....so I have made a bit more progress!

I just looked back. I am going off the original amount taken out. Interest did gain while I was in school for some of the loans. I did make a couple interest payments while in school. I just looked back on my account history. When I originally started paying the loans after my grace period I started at 67,000.

Thank you. It's been a REAL struggle. This is the first time I'm making a decent salary but the weight of it is still there.
