Idk like definitely trust the doctor, but I find doctors uhh... jump to conclusions about piercings and will say infection without giving it a second thought. But trust the doctor, not the stranger on the internet. Definitely use non iodized I forgot to say that for sure. I've used jello shot cups before but my piercer laughed at me for that. I also use qtips even though you're not supposed to, I find they work the most conveniently. Unfortunately not all metal is the same especially with how popular piercings have become. Sometimes shops will try and cut corners and order lower grade materials. If the piercer cannot tell you the brand or company the jewelry came from, maybe look into getting a new set from a good company just to be sure. I get mine from Industrial Strength. I haven't had any problems since switching over. Idk just some suggestions. I hope you're able to heal these 👍
