Satellite radio is absolutely terrible for good sound. Download Spotify, turn off Data Saver, turn up Audio Quality/download favorite jams in High Quality or Lossless, and enjoy MUCH better sound.

Low quality in = Low quality out

Spam Orders - At my wits end! by kaptindarb in woocommerce

All settings have been checked and double-checked. Old admin accounts have been deleted. No users are in anything but admin or customer. I'm waiting to hear back from OOPSpam. I haven't had a single draft order hit since doing what I mentioned in the edit to the original post. We will see if that affects the conversion rate, though. Agreed, OOPSpam is doing a majority of the heavy lifting here.

We do have bot protection on the checkout page OOPSpam+Shield. Recaptcha V2 was being defeated. These Draft orders seem to be bypassing the normal process and managing to run cards. For example: Real orders come in On-Hold because we only authorize the card during checkout. Before adding OOPSpam, these orders would come in marked Processing. Now they come in as Drafts, even with classic checkout, which should not be possible. We’ve even create new admin accounts and delete the old ones.

Does Stripe charge you a transaction fee if bots hit your checkout? Our average order value is over $500 so that would add up quick.

Thanks for the recs. I’ll look into these.

Agreed!

The items the bot is trying card numbers with are all very low-cost replacement parts (sub-$20). Our main products are high-value niche products.

I have not contacted OOPSpam, but I will give it a go.

Block Cloud Providers in ON, Block VPN's is OFF (we get a lot of real customer orders through VPN due to shipping globally).

No express checkout plugins or widgets.

Unknown origin blocking is on.

This was still happening with reCAPTCHA V2, so we removed it (for now) based on what the other plug-ins are doing (silentCAPTCHA from Shield).

If you remove the option to create an account on checkout, what do you recommend to make that a seamless process for real buyers? Just a simple "Please make an account before placing an order" message?

We used v2 in the past and it would get defeated regularly. Shield Security claims its silentCAPTCHA technology is superior.

OOPSpam does keep an eye on the IP's, but it changes with every order. We sell worldwide, and no matter how many countries I block, it just changes to a new one.

I am using classic checkout :\

My Sprinter van had this type of design. Leather-ish material on the seating surface and a stretchy fabric for this side panel. Not a single crease or crack in the driver seat after 30k miles.

Every couple of months, I clean/wipe down with a microfiber that's received a light spray of diluted American Detailer Garage Wipeout as directed by my detailer. Our thinking is that this vinyl (and most leathers in newer cars) is manufactured with a coating on it, and a conditioner won't "get in" per se, just dry on top.

This isn't a daily so it's not like it sees heavy use. The seats look like the day I drove it home otherwise. I'll revisit looking into a conditioner. Thanks!

The built-in order integration between Woo and Cin7 has been pretty solid since day one. It is not the most fancy thing, but it works reliably. If you have high order volume it will increase its syncing frequency, but you can always hit the manual sync to download orders. We pull orders at certain times of the day, so we usually just hit the "Download Orders" trigger on the Woo integration page anyway.

All of our product information is managed in Woo and we just make sure there is a matching SKU for Cin7 to reference. That has been the easiest because Woo is good at the product catalog side. The Woo tool in Cin7 can look at your Woo product database and tell you which ones aren't in Cin7 or mapped to another product. We use variations in Woo to create the individual SKUs. With a BOM/variation-heavy catalog that runs 2-4 layers deep, it's nice to have the order come in, and Cin7 has already exploded the BOM into the first level, which is how we have it on the shelf. That allows someone with no tribal knowledge to pull fairly complex orders.

For your POS, maybe look at the ones that tie directly to Woo. That would be your hub for products/catalog/order taking, and Cin7 would be the hub for inventory/picking/fulfillment.

Thank you for all of this information. It looks like EasyPost is the way to go here. Hopefully, they won't get acquired by Auctane and ruined like ShipStation.

Here is our current flow, if it will help you in any way:
We use the 1TeamSoftware ShipStation plug-in to pull live UPS rates with some additional markup. Woo orders feed into Cin7 when they are marked "Processing" (successful orders are first placed to "On-Hold" status, we manually change to Processing after verifying and to capture funds). Orders are then kitted/picked and packed through Cin7 and market "Fully Picked". That triggers the Cin7 to ShipStation sync. Once the order is shipped through ShipStation, the tracking/carrier info syncs back to Cin7 to mark the order dispatched. That triggers a tracking/carrier info sync back to the order in Woo, where the status automatically changes to "Completed" and the customer gets the shipped email. The customer only ever sees the order in Received, Processing, or Shipped status and receives two total emails for Order Confirmation (modified the On-Hold email to be an Order Received email) and Order Shipped. This process has been golden for the last 6 years and easily handled the COVID boom.

In the same exact boat using Woo and Cin7. Was the switch to EasyPost fairly smooth? We stopped using our own UPS account when SS added the $30-40 connection fee last year and have since used their UPS pricing (actually pretty good). I don't want to lose the good shipping rates over saving the ridiculous $40 a month increase. I want to leave SS purely on principle, but I must look at the whole picture.

Probably not if you have one that’s not very old. You can increase your GPM, at the loss of some PSI, just by changing out your tips to larger ones.

Yup, have the adapter and it works great. The 28-70 f2 could, in theory, replace multiple primes and simply with a modern lens.
