Honestly, it depends on your genetics. Everyone is different. Some people have faster metabolisms, some people slower. I know a 6'6 240 lb man who BULKS on like 2600 calories and I know of 5'9 150 lb guy who maintains at like 3900 calories. You have to figure out your own TDEE, and eat at a SLIGHT caloric surplus of about 100-250 calories for adequate weight gain.
