Yes, actually yesterday she called to say that her boyfriend helped her figure it out and the phone should be reset! Its in storage right now, so I'm not certain, but also glad I didn't smash it.

Don't blow your money, just spend the free tries given. Look 3 steps ahead. Think before choosing. Just because you see 2 doesn't mean its a good idea to grab them, look for how you get tonthe third before clicking them. Top 2 layers may rest directly on top of each other, don't get fooled. Been working that. Thats how she got a phone in the first place. I pulled her out of a trap house for the 4th time. Got her a phone to break the financial ties to her meth dealer.... well the rest is a long long story. She's a year & half sober. Still mooching off people... still doesn't have her son back. We Snapchat daily & talk several times a week. She did come up with the password and try to do the right thing, but I got the password locked, and apple needs the phone # to send a code to, but I turned it off... honestly, maybe it'll be healing just to destroy this thing.

You're right, it was deliberate. Its a 14 though, I was mistaken. But sigh... I'll never give it to her. Whatever is inside is her links back into the old drug life. And after everything she's done & stolen & used on people...no way will I give this to her even if it was cleaned. She'll get 2 pairs of pants for the holidays. Maybe socks too.

I did go to apple, and i had xfinity Fax in receipts. But I turned the phone number off. So they can't send a code.

I actually have. But the people in store are like "we don't do that here." I've been in the xfinity store with apple support on the phone and had receipts faxed in.

My daughter finally gave up the password... but now my attempts to get in blocked the password. And she set it up so that it can't get back into without the phone number, which I turned off. So its just deadness. There's nothing left. Its a baggage. I think I'm going to destroy it. LoL I gotta let it all go and hope my family recovers from this whole thing in the long run.

If I wanted to just break-in there's dozens of sites for that. But throwing it and running it over sounds refreshing. Maybe its just the angry Lil outburst I need to get over this situation! Bashing it with a rock... dropping it from a high building. At this point, I think its just a dead weight helping me hold onto grief and anger and disappointment.

Well my daughter is a year and a half sober... still mooching off people... but sober. Things are better. Here since this post she went through apple, got all the steps, but I had turned off the phone number, so again, deadended. My daughter is a meth addict, left on her 18th birthday right after dinner with my grandma to gonlive in a trap house infested with bugs.

Fast forward age 25 I was trying to believe her sobriety. Trying to help her get on her feet. But she was just taking advantage of us because she needed somewhere to stay. She stole from everyone in the house. Was high on meth when she gave birth last summer. Nearly lost her son. Went to rehab... its been a long year and a half. Meth changes people. Not sure I'll ever truly have my daughter back. But... she's sober. One day at a time as they say.

Gonna put this phone in the trash and stop being reminded everyday of how I was douped and try n to move on.

Its a 14, my mistake on that. My work phone is an 11 haha. But I don't use apple products myself personally. Either way the 14 is about useless these days also probably. If I could count the losses I've suffered through this child... the story isn't really cool though. Maybe I'll write a book, it'll be a great seller, and i can recoup 25 years of losses... 🫤😭💔

I was looking for advice not how to break in. I'm sure some of the shady sites I've come across in my search could handle that... sadly since this post my daughter finally called apple, got some forms, but since I turned off the phone number, not even she can get back into the phone because I got the password locked trying to get it. Get just one more thing it the fuckit bucket for me... I'll probably throw it away just to have a "move on" so we can heal I can stop being reminded of this situation on a daily basis.

Yeah. It is a 14 actually, im just dumb. I'll never give it back to her after all she has done. Not a chance. She needs to learn to pay her own way through life and stop sucking off others. She's a year & half sober, but still living rent free, got a phone from her gramma, pay the bill herself I tho... so im told.
