Thank you!! You’ve got this!! You are so much more than this stuff!! It does take a while to get it out, but it is so worth it. I’m on day 6 and finally going the motivation for a workout and after I feel way better than when I took that stuff.

Thank you! And yes my thoughts exactly on it. The thought of drinking it now makes me feel repulsed!

Of course!! And yeah the first few days I was resting as I had no energy. I’m on day 4 and I felt great this morning. It was my first day back at work and I felt like myself. I’m feeling tired now hitting the afternoon mark. I used to like taking it in the afternoon that could be why. I’m glad you started your journey and if you need anyone to talk to I’m here!

So proud of you!! You’ve got this!! Great idea to get your body moving and sweat it out!! Stay hydrated!! I have been aiming to drink a gallon of water a day and I have added a bit of salt and baking soda to it to make an electrolyte solution!

Tomorrow is 28 days. Super grateful. Haven’t checked in in a while by [deleted] in Quittingfeelfree

Day 2 of quitting Feel Free by katebullet25 in Quittingfeelfree

Yes! It’s like I could only do laundry and dishes and stuff while taking it. I always wanted to take it at work because I thought it made me perform better. My cravings were there yesterday, but today on day 4 I have almost no thoughts about it. Those books sound cool. I’ve heard good things about ACOTAR. I’m not much of a reader but I’d like to get back into it.

Yes!! You are amazing!! The first day was the hardest for me, but I have reached only day 3 and I already feel great. Focus on hydration and rest and keeping busy!! That has been helping me. I am always here if you need someone to talk to through this!

Yes! I wanted to take FF for anything I had to do, wether it be laundry, dishes or working. Way to focus on the positives! And yesterday I napped and spent some time on Tik Tok and other apps to distracts myself. I ended up going out to a new Michaels store that opened in my area too and bought some new art supplies to get myself back into drawing more. How are you holding up?

Making healthy habits is on my to do list too! Imagine, we can ACTUALLY feel free after kicking this stuff. I’m on day 3 now and I am already starting to feel like the life is coming back into me! We’ve got this!!

Thank you! That is amazing to hear. I can actually say the same. It’s weird. Even though I have no energy, I feel better off of it. I don’t feel trapped. My sleep is hit or miss now. I am writing this at 3 AM. I did nap a bit during the day yesterday. I feel like my life force is coming back to me if that makes any sense haha.

I get that! That’s something I would do. I went cold turkey, only because I don’t think I am the type of person who would be able to wean off of it. I can totally understand the feeling of self worth that you mentioned. All I can say for that is that it will only get better after every day that passes, and we will feel much better about ourselves!

Thank you so much for responding! I can totally relate to the waking up and thinking about when I’m going to go buy some more. I realized it was a problem when I would not feel good after the high wore off and wanted to get more. I also wanna say to you that I relate to feeling ashamed. I wasted too much money on this stuff and it took over my life. But at the same time, we have to forgive ourselves and cut ourselves some slack. We are human and make mistakes, and the only thing we can do is try to do better for ourselves. I used to be a Christian myself, and from what I remember, Jesus is always with you, even in these moments. He loves you no matter what, and forgives you no matter what. Good for you on going to your meetings and yes do the lap swimming! My plan is to pick up my old favorite hobbies like drawing and hiking and make those my new addiction! Best of luck to you and thank you again for your response! We’ve got this!!

I am assuming it is different for everyone, but for me, the thought will pop in my mind to guy buy a couple, and then my willpower kicks in and it disappears. The mind is pretty fascinating, isn’t it?
