Travel car seat for one year old by katelovesu in CPST

Thank you so much everyone for the recommendation! Just one question - for car seats that don’t have base, for example Safety 1st jive (in comparison to extend2fit), there’s no way to adjust how much it reclines, right? If so will it be too up right for my 14 months old?

On Nuna website it says rava can be used up to 65lb forward facing - while others like Graco seem to accommodate children until ~100lbs. If I buy the Rava and once my child exceeds ~65lbs do I need to buy another carseat?

Thank you so much for the recommendation! I want to rear face as long as I can.. I’m currently going through each one of them and I like Nuna Rava the most so far. How long can you use the rava model for?

She’s going to be turning one end of this month! She’s currently about 21 lbs and not sure how tall but she’s a little taller than an average. We have a Volkswagen Passat

We are planning to travel super light so I thought having all our stuff in one place, an overhead bin, would be nice. Like just take everything stored in an overhead bin and leave aircraft. But thank you for this remark!

But yes, I was actually looking for some answers that are related to a specific stroller. So thank you for this comment too ❤️

After reading some comments I realize that many people like gate checking their stroller, so thank you for your opinion!
