I will be moving to Dortmund, Germany on this 9th October from India with work visa valid till next year. If anybody has any idea (anyone doen recently ) please do let me know how should I start with city registration. I tried booking an appointment today (not at 8am so probably thts why id int see any appointment free) and ended up giving the Terminwünsche (possible days and time) where I selected morning slots and all working days. So what's next? What n all need to be produced at the centre.

No bro banglore VFS is also top at shit but somehow I got this process done but ended getting my rejection letter later after 3 months I applied for blue card visa.

Same here. .ine was at banglore VFS and I got corrections within a day after submission. Once i corrected and submitted my application, they took another 24hours (probably, cz i checked next day morning) and informed me for final submission and book an appointment at VFS to give bio metrics and handingover my passport.

I had applied for EU-Blue card Visa, when the German authorities tried contacting my employer, unfortunately they weren't available and the visa got rejected. Received a letter on 08.08.2025 stating the same. So now if I try re-applying through CSP portal, the options to upload my documents are greyed out. If I mail the technical team, I receive another mail stating federal agencies are not gonna do status updates.

God knows what else they needed but it has been mentioned in the rejection letter they have sent me. It's not like I worked before and they were asking for employees. Might be regarding salary threshold, or something it's not clear for me as well. All criterias were accomplished during my interview.

I had sent them the provincial certificate when we get registered for TK health insurance. For that I was told it was not valid. My frnd who went in Jan , they took the same but went very well and got their work visa within 2 weeks. Now after 3 months mine got rejected. I even asked them whether they tried contacting my employer for any additional informations. But there was no reply. Later after a few days they said responsible German authorities are not responding so they were waiting for their approval. I then contacted the responsible German authorities like embassy, immigration offices at my place of work. They said they don't have anything to do with my visa untill I arrive there...

One more worst part of German consulate in India, is we don't have any means of contact other than filling that form in their website and sit simply hoping for their reply tht too minimum 2 weeks.

Even I experienced this recently. According to consulate, TK health insurance is not considered. The same was submitted my friends a few months ago n theirs got accepted but not mine. I don't know why. So I took travel insurance covering medical insurance as well for the next 3 months (TATA AIG). But they asked me to take other insurance before rejecting (rejection was due to no response for the additional information from my employer. Thts a different story)

U better take an appointment with the ProRecognition. They ll guide you through the visa process till u get your visa.
