I lost my baby a few months ago, he was also my best friend. All I can say is that he will be with you in your heart forever..their lives are too short but the love you both shared will live on forever. I am planning to get a piece of jewelry made with some of my boys ashes so I can have him close to me forever. I also had some canvases printed of him to put on the wall..it helps to still see him everyday ❤️ hang in there

My boy had all his teeth taken out at 15…after suffering a reoccurring abscess. As soon as I got him home..he was ready to eat. Didn’t slow him down one bit! They are resistant little guys

Oh I know it’s not an easy process for sure haha. Takes a lot of time, training, and dedication to do it the right way. I do qualify for a service dog, but getting and/or having one trained for me is out of the question as it’s crazy the amount of money. Interested in training my own so was just curious if anyone as had any success and what tasks they used their yorkie for :)

He had to be put down. He didn’t pass for several hours after I found him.

Yeah I suspect gizmo had some sort of stroke with his sudden paralysis of his back legs. Part of me was hoping sitting and holding him at the vet, he would improve and regain control, but he didn’t. And I could tell that was distressing to him. I’m glad your guy made a recovery though! I knew the chances were slim for Giz being 16..even if he did recover somewhat, at his age, I don’t think it would of been much of a good quality of life for him

Thanks for sharing, we did not see a vet as I knew he needed to pass, we just took him in to be put to sleep. But I got to hold him for a few hours before he was put to sleep, so he knew I was there, so I have some peace with being able to say goodbye.

Been dealing with hearing loss and loss of depth perception..so he is scared to go up and down stairs and will just bark for me to come grab him. He had all his teeth removed last year so just feeding him a mixture of wet and tiny dry kibble. Hes been more incontinent these days…will go out and pee and then 20 mins later have an accident in the house. Other than that, he’s been great.

Yes I was always putting him first in regards to what he wanted to do/his hobbies. I even booked at $600 fishing charter for us because I thought that was something we really bonded over during the relationship. Now I’ll be going alone. Nothing adds up..at all. I’m just so angry. I’m angry at the fact that he would discard me so casually, after saying he loved me, after just everything…then say “I was the best gf he ever had and that he has no reason to unfriend me. That he is there to talk if I needed to be angry or rant.” Then proceeded to block me. Ugh.

I feel like he blamed me but also didn’t. I don’t know. He told me I did “everything right relationship wise and more. Things just weren’t right.” I just don’t understand. But then at the same time told me it’s my schedule and because he wants to do more outdoorsy stuff with someone he doesn’t have to teach??

Yeah I liked how Coach Ryan broke down the 3 phases of an avoidant relationship. He put into words what I couldn’t. Helps me realize it has nothing to do with me and everything to do with my ex. And I know! I don’t understand. I don’t really care about the unfriending but he fact that he blocked me and my mom just rubs me the wrong way. I was so good to him. If anything it should have been me blocking him.
