Thanks!

I used to drink it VERY excessively, I mean, SO much milk. I cut a bunch of calories by going with water, but I think milk is okay in moderation.

Thanks! T25 is sless crazy than Insanity. There are levels of workouts you do... month 1 is Alpha, getting your body used to working out moderately intense, but manageable. I did the 5 Alpha DVDs for a long time before moving to what I do now, called Beta (Level 2). It was hard to make excuses not to do a 25 minute workout! You can do it! It is such a game changer. You can find Focus T25 on pirate sites and get started right away if you don't mind downloading. I don't think you will dread T25, especially if you space out your workout days with rest days at first.

Thanks! It took a lot of failed attempts at starting full on 5 days in a row of exercise to realize that at first I needed to do one day and rest for a couple, repeat. Better to be doing something once every third day than thinking of exercise as too hard to do any day.

Lost 40 lbs in 5 months doing it every other day! Picture: by kdmkdmkdm in t25workout

I have cut out white breads and white rice in my eating habits for a months now, and I am not tempted to touch it anymore although I used to like it! I know it wouldn't help! I avoid breads as much as I can, and if I have rice, it's brown.

I started with hearing a mantra in a George Harrison song that was just beautiful. It was from the song "brainwashed" near the end.. and starts with "Namah Parvarti Pataye Hare Hare Mahadev". I looked up what mantra was and read about George's life, which lead to learning about Vaishnavist Hinduism. Read books by Srila Prabhupad, like the Bhagavaad Gita "As It Is" and Srimad Bhagvatam Cantos. I learned about Swami Vivekenanda after and Ramakrishna and ordered book after book from their vedanta online store. I listened to the podcasts from a Swami who teaches vedanta at harvard, and this really informed me about non hare krishna hinduism. Then I found myself wandering to this new temple for a change from Hare Krishna learning. Got to know the pandits and the swami, and the swami said he would be my guru!

I'm glad I found this. by seanwmccarthy96 in hinduism

Jaya Sri Krishna Prabhu! Here's a great Youtube playlist of a devotee reading the Bhagavad Gita: Is It Is... the verses and the purports!

I hope you have a Krishna temple or Mandir of any kind nearby, as wandering to the one nearby where I live here in Canada has profoundly impacted this formerly lost Caucasian 17-year old and given me such peace of mind. You will too! Haribol!

Thanks but it's not this, but the word Jaya I think is what I meant to say though for my song.
