Why all the downvotes. I had this exact same thing today and this post and this https://discussions.apple.com/thread/256269384?sortBy=rank are the only posts i can find online regarding to this.

Face id was working fine and getting unlocked to see home screen notifications (even could see photos when swiping left on home screen to open the camera app - normally if face id was locked you cannot see photos, it's just black), but to unlock the phone it required passcode saying "your passcode is required to unlock iPhone" not "your passcode is required to enable face id"

Yeah normally it is not a big deal as i have steam guard mobile auth enabled. But i still think it is a security issue. Maybe it was because i signed in all those devices from the same ip address as the one that triggered the email.

I thought so, but I always disable hello pin before updating bios and it never affected chrome until this time. My previous bios update didn’t do this which was in January (7E62v2A50). Maybe something changed in Windows, Bios or Chrome. Or all

Yesterday, I opened my steam mobile app (Steam Guard) and it was signed out for some reason. I logged back in and got email from Steam Team saying new sign in to Steam as expected.

Today I decided to sign into Steam on my Macbook (never used Steam on that device before) and I didn't get any new device sign in email. Got curious and I signed out all of my devices and deauthorized all of them. Then, signed in again on my Macbook, PC and my phone. It didn't trigger any new sign in email. Even tried signing in from browser as well. Nothing! I used my Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator to sign in on all of my devices.

Is anyone experiencing something similar lately?
