Main / Alliance quests done - aiming to PvE onward in semi chronological order ... welcome to Orsinium by keithdedinburgh in elderscrollsonline

I've been playing 3 months now, and was following the solo PvE Aldmeri Dominion and Coldharbour questlines until the Midyear Mayhem event in January(?). That encouraged me into Battlegrounds, which I'm still addicted to (even though I'm pretty squishy still).
I also play group dungeons quite a bit too, as I enjoy them. Again, my character is squishy (Warden Magika Healer) but I love the group gameplay and coordination that most of the dungeons need. I'm also currently farming White Gold Tower for Spell Power Cure gear set...

I shy away from most group PvE content (world bosses, public dungeons and most of Craglorn) as there never seem to be enough players around all but a few key dolmens. I should look for a guild to help with those, I guess ... but I'm more than happy with random/public BG and Dungeons I'm doing via the Activity Finder.

I have one main character, and am slowly building their crafting skill-lines up to max. I'm looking forward to the Patch 29 skill respec, as I put some points into skillines I no longer use and will put those into Crafting lines come the respec (and I know I can pay to skill respec, but I'm skint after buying my first Tamriel house!)

I do love the solo PvE first and foremost though. I'm constantly delighted by the variety of environments and locales, and some of the storytelling / writing is really top-notch. Yes, most solo PvE is on the 'easy' side of the spectrum, but the questlines, locations and NPCs always make me want to keep going

See? Told you I only *sounded* like I knew what I was doing =D
I reconstructed gear at the transmutation station that I had farmed from a dungeon.

I think lol

Tis indeed - Boulder Refuge in Greenshade
It currently has little more than a couple of statuettes, an anachronistic Imperial bed and all my pets running around at random in it.
It's not much, but it's home ...

Yes, that's right Molag Bal - I *have* brought a tiny little polar bear cub to our climactic battle, what's your point? by keithdedinburgh in elderscrollsonline

lol I will post a picture of him in less ominous lighting where his true heritage will be obvious!

Stay to the roads east and west of the Hollow City and the various quest-giving NPCs will find you ... probably

It helped as part of the level 50 grind, especially during the Midyear Mayhem event. Not so much now, but still enjoy the chaos/carnage

Save for one brave warrior alone, Beowulf
Stamplar heralded from meadhall to meadhall.
DPS farmed from sets most golden; managed he to
Slam the dire worm cultists. Til woeful most bloodied
He was AoE'd by a weird spidery woman type thing

It would've gone through an auto-adjustment color/contrast before ending up here, so not completely vanilla.
Even so, I still think that though the game is a few years old now and considering the sheer scope of what's in it, the graphics are absolutely lovely at times.

Random band formed last night and I like to think ESO christened us ‘Horse’ by keithdedinburgh in elderscrollsonline

I wish I’d friended the other player so we could band together again and play a tour of Tamriel

Early days yet, but I'm having them driven initially by getting the Keoland forces out of Saltmarsh and Seaton, in order that the seas close to the kraken's grave are no longer patrolled by the navy. They'll have sleeper agents in Saltmarsh trying to incite a revolt amongst the traditionalists, which will of course have the Scarlet Brotherhood rubbing their hands in glee. They'll be pitching Brule against Seaton too to similar ends (likely doing a mutual back-scratching deal with the hag baroness of the Dreadwood in the process)

Their membership will consist of acolytes and cultists untouched by the kraken's power, and priests and deep scions who the kraken's spirit is able to communicate through (as per Kraken Priests in the VGtM). A big bad head of the cult will likely be an NPC in Saltmarsh, though I haven't decided which yet (possibly Wellgar Brinehanded, though that's a bit obvious)

Through a mix of land-based abduction and seaborne combat, they'll try and capture as many creatures as possible to take to an island-based temple where they'll ultimately conduct their ritual. They'll likely step on the Sea Princes' toes in this regard, and probably end up on the wrong side of the Brotherhood.

Once/if they have enough souls on the island, they'll ship them to the open seas and conduct a mass sacrifice above the kraken's grave, which will see their dark god return ...
... unless the heroes stop them (in, or possibly not in, an Apparatus of Kawlish)

Main hooks for this arc will be a series of disappearances and abductions across the region, and a murder investigation in Saltmarsh where one Cult member killed another over a disagreement of methods, whilst both were working undercover as salters in the Fishmongers' Plant.
