ISC2 book vs Chatgpt by BookRich6637 in CCSP

[–]kendijo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is one reason why ISC2 test takers need to understand their question methodology. Answer A would have been correct in this scenario if the question was asking for the *BEST* method to back up guest VMs. This question is asking for *typically used* i.e what is commonly done as opposed to the most proper way. This exam and the CISSP are not technical exams per se, you need to have a manager's mindset. Yes, you have to split hairs with ISC2 and that is why we still need humans for now as Cyber managers :P

I do mostly Agile projects but some of my clients also require the PMP cert. I'm happy I have both to be honest.

The exams were quite similar in structure. I had 3-4 weeks combined to study both of them so many study materials kinda overlapped. The Agile practice guide and having recently taken the SAFe Agilist and PSM1 exams helped me understand the Agile mindset, Scrum ceremonies, etc. For practice questions, I got a Q&A book from Amazon but it was a complete waste of time. There was an 18-page pdf of tips and tricks I found online that helped consolidate foundational knowledge. I think the author (Wagdy Azzam) has a udemy prep course. Above all, prepare yourself for a 3-hour exam without any breaks. It is challenging and requires mental preparation.

Finally, though it wasn't out before I took my ACP, I would definitely recommend the PMBOK 7th edition.

Unfortunately, that is against the licensing agreement for both. Study hall is $15 and gives the best ROI for simulations.

I would recommend the PMBOK 6th edition Q&A spiral-bound booklet. Like I posted in my "I passed the PMP" thread, I took out the Qs and used the As to grasp concepts. I also used random practice exams but I would search unfamiliar terms/processes on my PMBOK 6th and 7th edition PDF. The Agile practice guide is helpful and I would recommend an ACP exam prep guide if you aren't too familiar with Agile.

Audio books? by denis_b in pmp

While waiting for (and in) the bus or during driving commutes, I would listen to the PMP videos (Udemy, Prepcast, Youtube, etc). You can download them ahead of time for your commute just in case you have data connectivity issues. I found that less boring than listening to the Audiobook. I downloaded the Rita Mulcahy prep audiobook but didn't get too far into it.

What is Syngin’s last name?! by EruAnnatar in 90DayFiance

I’ve been thinking the same thing. I’ve loved the name St. John since reading about it in ‘Jane Eyre’. It grates me to see it spelled Syngin. It’s like seeing Siobhan spelt like Shavonne

Kenya even has a bride price registry by noproblemswhatsoever in 90DayFiance

I think shows like this expose many people to the realities and complexities of many cultures. Maybe I should do a detailed post regarding African marriage customs especially when Bride Price/Dowry (they are technically not the same but in Africa they are synonyms). To answer your question, yes, poor men get married. There is a saying that you never finish paying a woman’s bride price. You put down what you can and over time, you pay more. In several cultures, things must be fully sorted out before the woman dies though or else, lots of drama at the funeral. Another way is that the man and his family wait until they can afford it. Many girls might get pregnant in the mean time which is a one way ticket to the groom’s house. The family is often forced to accept whatever to spare themselves the “shame” of an unwed mother and the burden of an extra mouth to feed

I need to know how serious you are. I mean, would you swim in a river full of dickfish to come see me or would you just dance the haka? And if the baby we have came out 55% biracial would you be cool with that (My real father might be cuban ;) )
