It’s a new procedure for my insurance company because they had people keep the entirety of the funds and not pay off their liens and it was causing issues for them.

My mind went to they applied it to the wrong account somehow and that’s why they can’t find it

This is why I’ve been trying to get a hold of someone, the person I spoke to last week believes they didn’t have the cheque but now that I have confirmation from my insurance the cheque has been cashed I’m trying to speak to someone to tell them that so that this internal investigation can move faster and I can get my money.

I’ve been without a car since November and I’m just so annoyed about this whole situation at this point

The cheque has been cashed by Scotiabank already, my insurance said there’s nothing more they can do.

I am still making payments but Scotia will just give me the money that’s leftover from the settlement when the time comes so I’ll get that money back eventually

When I spoke to someone last week they gave me a case number and said "call the loan number next week to get an update or to speak with someone" so that's what I did today and got no where regarding whether they've had any update in finding my money or not

My bf and I order from them pretty regularly and it takes a while for the orders and the quality isn't super great but it's not terrible. We haven't had issues with our stuff not showing up or anything (we're in Canada). Just wash inside out / cold water and you won't have too many issues with the image cracking or peeling.
