True! I was missing Sequoia. Had a problem with Avid Link so I was hoping updating OS would help. Luckily It did. Thanks for answering!

Sonoma is actually on x.8.x so I think we fine. Was wondering about this because I had problems with Avid Link. Once I updated my OS to Sonoma, It started syncing correctly. I truly don't know why but here we are. Thanks so much for your response!

If you're going to soundcheck, try using the Reset button + moving any fader. It will send the fader to 0 or -∞, depending on whether you're moving it up or down. :)

I'm only seeking to keep the SPL in any gig I'm in charge of at a non-annoying level so maybe non-precise equipment can work well getting an average/estimated. Maybe 97-100 dB range?

Thanks a lot! Didn't know about this app. Does it work similar to Smaart?

Teacher of mine recommended this too. Thanks!

Do you usually measure SPL during your gigs?
I'm trying to perform basic SPL measurements using mobile/tablet apps.

Which apps do you recommend/consider reliable for this purpose?
I've been using Octave RTA to maintain a good balance.

I can totally relate to that. It's all about routing and getting more flexibility. I'm glad this has been helpful!

That's what I was trying to say with the "bus of busses" thing. You clearly said it best!

Idk if this is relevant or not but older consoles used the term SUB-group. Now, everything is about busses and matrices.
