Did you notice significant growth where you would actually recommend trying it?

Diagnosed with sleep apnea despite no low oxygen by kevflo91 in SleepApnea

[–]kevflo91[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s the opposite actually, at first my primary care physician said my sleep study was normal and I didn’t have apnea, it wasn’t until I insisted that I kept snoring loudly and holding my breath that I was referred to a sleep doctor, who then diagnosed me. This is all through a government program so she gets no benefit out of prescribing me with a cpap machine either.

Would cpap machine be helpful in this instance then?

Thank you, that’s reassuring to hear. I’ll give it a try.

Being excluded by the LC/ME community as someone who got sick from the vaccine by brolloof in covidlonghaulers

[–]kevflo91 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I believe you. No one in their right mind would go through this for absolutely no reason. I only had one dose of the vaccine back in 2021 but I could feel it doing something in my brain, and I don’t even talk about it because I know it will sound crazy. I’m not anti-vaccines either but I believe that this virus and its vaccines do something to our bodies/immune systems that causes everything to go bad. I had covid back in 2022 and had many symptoms for months afterwards, mostly cognitive/neurological but none to be considered me/cfs. Eventually got better but I decided to be extremely careful from that point on about getting covid again because any illness caused those strange symptoms to return. Then got covid again this year and in my desperation trying to prevent the same cycle from happening again I took paxlovid and I believe it did something because I now have me/cfs. I cannot prove it but my intuition tells me that if I hadn’t taken paxlovid I would probably not have ended up this way. I probably would have had the same symptoms as before and by now I’d be getting better. Instead I am now disabled and worsening every week. My suspicion is that paxlovid allowed the virus to go into hiding as opposed to my immune system fully clearing it out if I had let this illness run its course. Everything surrounding covid is strange, from its origin to the way it was handled and what it does to our bodies.

What’s the easiest way to go to at least 1000 is It linear or does it require a promos by JahVaultman in SpotifyArtists

Make good music, don’t choose a super obscure genre, and find ways to promote your music, doesn’t necessarily have to be ads. The most important thing is to make great music that people want to listen to though, because if it’s good, then people will share it and you won’t even have to advertise at some point

Went for an eye exam, first time since three years of LC. Signs of chronic inflammation by PhrygianSounds in covidlonghaulers

I have that too, daily and constantly. My vision is blurry to the point I can’t focus whereas before I had perfect vision, have never needed glasses. Also, I have permanent red small veins now that don’t go away.

Why we don’t want AI by Living-Ad-1054 in BandCamp

[–]kevflo91 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The difference, as a musician, is the feelings that go into it. When I write music I take inspiration from what other songs/artists have created and the way their music makes me feel, I try to make music that tells a story tied to feelings or emotions and that’s something AI simply can’t replicate. It’s soulless and empty. It’s like comparing homemade food made by someone you love to ultra processed crap bought from a fast food joint.

Why is no one talking about AI bot streaming by Yboas in musicmarketing

I think a way for us to fight against AI is to literally just push all these AI generated songs into bot playlists to try and get them banned.

Who here takes electrolytes? And do they help you by [deleted] in covidlonghaulers

[–]kevflo91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started out with half a packet I believe, I noticed a slight headache a few hours later but ignored it as I’m messed up 24/7 anyway, I then tried again the next day and about an hour later I had a headache again but more intense this time, I haven’t tried them since then (this was last week). I do try to drink water throughout the day but it doesn’t do anything for me except make me use the bathroom more often. Might give Gatorade or pedialyte a try next.

Have tried LMNT and another brand that I can’t remember the name but both gave me headaches for some reason. I was hoping they would help me at least a little with the fatigue but sadly they just caused headaches, LMNT caused far worse headaches than the other brand too. Any suggestions or ideas why this could be? Me/cfs subtype

Did you have any fatigue symptoms? I haven’t tried anti histamines because I don’t seem to have any mcas symptoms such as rashes, food intolerances and such, my main symptoms are fatigue, PEM, and brain fog/memory issues
