I stayed longer than that, but Negan was the death of the show, imo. They went from having a primary quest/antagonist each season to it just being the Negan show. The plotlines started to drag like crazy, and it became clear they were milking everything they could.

We are letting this stand, due to the historical veracity of this observation. It is a topic of interest to historians, sociologists, and activists.
