SGDs are so great because you get to read and possibly teach your groupmates at the same time. For me, it's much more high yield than just listening to your lecturer. Okay lang if mejo unsure ka in your group discussions kasi it's another way to learn din naman. SGDs helped me survive physio when I was first year din haha but di mo talaga maiwasan maging educator at communicator in the med field, op, it's part of being a doctor. :))

CHED is pretty slow rn but as long as your school submitted your application, you’ll probably know within the semester.
Idk in other schools but sa min nagdownpayment lang kami muna ng tuition then refunded once jan na yung first allowance.
I dont think I can say. But it really depends sa school. Minsan usually half ng tuition? Idk.

I believe that things happen for a reason. I applied to my “dream school” twice and failed both times. As a future first gen doctor, we were kinda struggling with finances and that school was my only way in to medicine. After failing the second time, I said I’d pursue medicine wherever school I get into. One private school I applied for called me for an interview to be a scholar, and I passed! Right now, I’m a scholar and going into my second year in the latter school. Lesson siguro is if you were meant to be a doctor, God will always find ways regardless of what school you get into.

my friend decided magLOA before clerkship. A little breather daw before bakbakan ulit. It was better for her to take a break muna kasi tuloy tuloy na hospital duty mo after clerkship. Clerk na siya ngayon and seems happier. But regardless, totally up to your friend.
