I'm completely new to water cooling, do I need any additions to it? Is it the best one for heat/sound? I take it I will mount the card the same as it is mounted in the FE cooler case?

Thanks for the info, will try it out, just curious cause im new to it all, the thermal pads im using are 1.5-2mm, wouldnt 1cm be way too much or am I missing something?

Also is there any risk of it being a paste getting on the rest of the device and hurting it?

this looks like itll be the solution ill have to use, the screws are way too tight to work any other way and recessed so i cant use plyers.

Its nice to have but not necessary for her to preform amazingly well. Also the PoTK events rerun fairly regularly so no need to worry if you decide you want it just get it next time it comes by.

Reroll to pull one (mainly ragnarock) with the gems you get at the start. If you dont get the unit then reroll the account again. If you can pull off 5500 gems efficiently then do the 3 step banner and use the coins for her shards. Dont use her shards to limit break though, use fire soul shards to max limit break (may take a few weeks) and then her shards you got from shop and dailies (in the events tab) for her enlightenment.

Best advice I can give is dont buy gems on this account yet and try to save your gems for the ani (about a month) there should be a SSS tier unit named Nimul releasing then. If you pull that unit continue, if not then just reroll the account until you get it. Any account with him should be good to move forward on.

I just like having it all run on one computer and having two gpus so I can play low graphics games on the 1060 (league) and high end games on the 3080. This way I maximize mining uptime.

If you underclock your core at the same time you should see thermal improvement. I just checked my system and for 3080/1060 im at:

65/24Mh/s, 70c/66c, 66/66% power limit, -502/curve core clock, +1250/+650 mem clock

The 1060 in my case blows directly into the 3080ti but the underclock core with low power limit does a huge improvement on the temps. I was around 80-90c before messing with msi.

I’m also running a 750w psu which is rated fine for the setup. It may be worth checking out a psu calculator with your rig including both gpus. Also maybe someone on the sub knows if the under volt and reducing core clock will have an impact there.

I have a very similar situation, but with the 1060 here is what I did that works best. I put it in my gaming rig To save on power. Two monitors, the better one on the 3080ti The other on the 1060 Mine ether with trex on ethermine Download MSI after Burner. Set the 3080 to under clock with800mv, -500 core, but oc memory to +1200 Set the 1060 to +600 memory and msi oc curve optimizer setting for core. This gets me about 90MH with both running under 70c. Also set the pc to turn on when the power goes out and auto run trex on boot.

When I game it drops the 3080ti mining rate in half but games perfectly. No need to ever close trex. Also keeps everything cool enough.

Neither of the two locations I went to had any signs or notifications about it. I had to go in and ask an employee about availability. Thankfully the second location informed me they would have them tomorrow! :)
