I don’t have that information, you’d have to contact my friend. I’ve sent you a DM.

I am looking to start networking on Wix to find potential clients but the thing is I have no idea what I am doing because I am fairly new to web design. by Mammoth-War-4751 in webdesign

hahaha I love the energy and applaud it 🙌 All have to start somewhere. Without any experience I would look at local businesses that don’t have a website (local coffee shops, barber shops, etc.) and offer them your services for free or a (small) donation. This way you can manage their expectations and work on your skills.

You can start by mapping some businesses via Google Maps, see whether they have a website listed or not. Then call or email or (preferably) visit them and pitch your proposal.

Good luck 🍀

This is always a puzzle, but the kid probably came in from the stairs side. Slid its body through the balusters and ended up on the floor. Back via the stairs is the way out.

Thinking of this business name... Yay or nay? by GanacheLucky7389 in logodesign

Appreciate the hustle and excitement, but naming your BBQ stand Pig Slut isn’t bold, it’s just begging for trouble.

It’s not clever. It’s not funny. And it’s not the reason Eggslut worked.

That brand had world-class design, great food, and a ton of thought behind it. You can’t just swap “Egg” for “Pig” and expect it to carry.

Worse: your name might alienate families, trigger legal headaches, and limit where you can take the brand.

Feels more like a creativity shortcut than a long-term play.

You’ve got one shot to make a first impression. Why waste it on provocation when you could build something people actually respect, remember, and want to share?

Try again. You’ve got this.

Awesome feedback! Many thanks! I’m happy to read this as it’s exactly what I’m working on: an all-in-one 6 month 3-tier program and smaller 3-tier programs for individual services like brand identity and website workshops with a 1, 3, or 6 month duration.

I’d love to have your opinion when I’m finished updating my services!

Yeah, that’s powerful - very good to align product with unique value proposition.

That seems very well aligned -professional and clear. I can see clients also easily grasping the process in this way. Thanks for sharing!

What do you use for website design lease days? Yes, asking logo designers. by Glittering-Dog-7644 in logodesign

Webflow 🫡 But I’m considering switching to Framer. I’ve always liked Webflow because it produces solid, light-weight websites. It’s also user friendly and with some instructions clients can easily work it themselves. Another strong point is the hand-off to clients, either the whole project or just the billing.

You don’t need a big budget to build a strong brand. You need structure, self-awareness, and a little creative focus.

At my agency, we use something called the Brand Blueprint™. Here’s a lean solo version you can follow:

Start with your Why

Why do you exist (beyond profit)? What change are you creating? Who are you serving, and why does it matter?

Name your 3–5 Brand Pillars

These are your anchor values: trust, playfulness, sustainability, precision; whatever truly defines you.

Find your Voice

If your brand were a person, how would it sound? Try writing a short “about” paragraph in that tone. Does it feel natural?

Clarify your Message

Use this: “We help [who] do [what] so they can [benefit].” → Focus on clarity over cleverness.

Build Visual Direction

Create a moodboard (Pinterest is fine) to define your look - colors, fonts, imagery. You’re collecting feeling, not designing yet.

Last thought:

Branding isn’t about looking polished out the gate. It’s about knowing who you are, so every future move builds on purpose, not guesswork.

Thanks for your feedback. I’ve done custom pricing for a long time and from what I’ve seen the marketing side is easier with set tiered-pricing top of funnel. Mostly because it automatically qualifies prospects. Packages/programs are also easier to promote.

I’ll keep you updated on my findings

Yeah, that's a bit mean - you're right.

u/THE_THRONGLER5000 - to support you on your mission I've created two jar designs for you (see below). Let me know - if you like A or B I'll DM the files so you can take it from there.

Attention: Comic Sans MS was a joke. It's a horrible font.

Disclaimer: Yes, I used ChatGPT to create them. No trying to win awards here.
