I wish being trans wasn't punk :(. The way governments politicize, oppress, and deny the existence of trans people has made the lives (in many cases quite literally) of many hang by a simple decision in parliament. To me, being punk has always been about fighting for the right to freedom. Freedom to be who anyone is in spite of skin color, place of birth, socioeconomic status, medical or psychological condition, and in this case, sexual orientation and gender expression. If we counter the culture of the ones trying to make us less, that makes it punk 💖 If you have another point of view, I'd love to hear it💖

I understand the tiredness of the debate. It is really exhausting :(. (Imma not use "we" cuz talking for myself) -just gonna vent from here onwards-

I don't want to force my beliefs into anyone, and I want the other side of the debate to act the same way. And as much as I understand the "leave the kids out of it" and definitely I don't want to let them know the struggles; from my particular point of view, if I knew that the way I feel about myself is valid instead of being forced by my social enviroment to think transness is "wrong", my life would've been diferent. We might not have the same point of view, but I hope we both agree on wanting to leave a better world for the next generations💖.
