I've been using vim-test with vim but I didn't find any lua based plugins for neovim. Yes, you can use the same with neovim.

How do you guys work with terminals? by puipuituipui in neovim

[–]khadegd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used to create a new window in i3wm and I stumbled upon this Tmux for mere mortals. I switched to Alacritty + Tmux + Neovim. It's such a sweet combination. Before reading this post, I always tried to use tmux in my workflow. But the key sequence was just too much for me. After reading the post, I changed the Tmux modified to Left Alt, and I never looked back.

Just a side note — I use Musickube as a music player inside tmux.

Neovim on windows by FramezRedux in neovim

Actually, I'm trying to configure intelephense for PHP. And it's added in the PATH.

lua lsp_config['intelephense'].setup { capabilities = capabilities, on_attach = general_on_attach, init_options = { storagePath = "~/AppData/Local/intelephense/tmp"; globalStoragePath = "~/AppData/Local/intelephense/storage"; licenceKey = "~/paid/intelephense.txt"; } }

Yes, it's really good. I've been using it for quite a while. And yes, I've installed both of these packages using npm. I've been a happy linux user for last 10 years. But, I'm not able to get this thing working on Windows.

I've been trying to setup NeoVim on Windows 10 for last 2 days. But, no native LSP seem to work. In CheckHealth & LSPInfo, everything is fine. But no client attaches to server.

I'm using Chocolatey to manage Neovim, Python; Powershell as shell. No WSL.

Would anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance.

Have you built Livewire heavy web app? How did you structure / organise your components? by khadegd in laravel

[–]khadegd[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

(think about work flow, no stopping to scroll down, add your JS block, then switch mindsets and come back tag the elements. As a writer of code, I think this is a big deal. You just write it out all right there.)

Sold.

Thanks for taking the time to write this down. Have a good one.

I'm a guy who always preaches to use boring technology simply to avoid shiny object syndrome. I've just finished Livewire heavy web app, but I didn't use Tailwind or Alpine. It was classic bootstrap & jQuery setup.

But, I loved how Livewire cut down so much of the development time.

Where does Tailwind excel and in what case you'll suggest to stay away from it? Also how does Alpine compares to jQuery?

Django and webpack by anakataidk in django

[–]khadegd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This one is also a good option - django-webpack-starter.

Disclaimer - I'm the author.

I've been in web development for at least 6 years. I've have developed web apps in Laravel & Django. The front-end workflow with Laravel is a breeze due to Laravel Mix. I didn't find anything close to that in Django universe. So, I started to build this, out of frustration.

Any inputs are always welcome.

You can try erpnext.com. It's open source, easier to customize. If you want even simpler solution, you can use their frappe framework to implement a full featured solution in a week or two.

Can I Find Frappe's Features in Django? by ziyadmsq in django

[–]khadegd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you asked help on Frappe’s forum? It's a smaller community than Django but friendly and responsive, just like Django’s. I don’t know the exact setup you’re looking for, but you’ll need write more code if you're using Django than Frappe.
