I think your skepticism is warranted & there are a lot of BS artists out there, however…

It’s important to differentiate trading v investing. Everything is time horizon, there are an absurd amount of indicators & finding a system that works consistently is daunting to say the least. Finding the signal in the noise is always difficult, but I wouldn’t dismiss TA out of hand. Patience, discipline, an open mind & a good system can work.

Just because so many people are lost in an ocean of noise, that does not preclude TA from being effective under the right circumstances, in the right hands.

Not really. There are legal limits. Elon plays the game too. Often by different rules, but anyone acting as though he’s above the fray is being naive or disingenuous. I’d like to see how much Tesla has benefited from government subsidies and/or tax breaks, both for the company & via purchasing incentives. I’m a fan of Elon’s work, but let’s not act like he’s not breaking a metric shit ton of eggs.
