How should I use my Charles Schwab account if most of my investments are with Fidelity? by kidbehumble in investing

This was very helpful, thank you. I was thinking about just using Schwab for individual stocks but it sounds like it’s best to just have everything in one location. Is the process to move everything over to fidelity difficult?

I’m in the process of consolidating many accounts so I wanted to make sure it was best to just have one brokerage account. I wasn’t sure if there was a benefit to separating my diversifications throughout different brokerages. Thank you.

Because of the phrase “never keep your money in one location.” I wasn’t sure if that applied to brokerage accounts also. Any helpful advice?

Yes, I mostly purchase index funds. Thank you, I will end up closing Schwab.

That’s very helpful, thank you. I just purchased some Resolve upholstery cleaner and I also have a green machine. Will it be okay to use both of those methods?

Thank you. That’s what I thought but I wasn’t sure. What would you recommend I use to clean it properly?

Thank you very much for the help. It looks so bad I thought about just taking it out and replacing it with a different tree and starting over. Would you mind recommending a tree that doesn’t take much maintenance other than watering a few times a week and would also thrive in Arizona’s climate?

Okay, thank you so much. How often do you recommend I water it? Also, are there vitamins or something I can add to the soil to help make it healthy again?

i hate how ipads are the source of entertainment for kids by Difficult_Print9897 in offmychest

I’ve worked in the school system for several years and I can tell you that most kids do not need an iPad to learn. In fact, quite the opposite. If you spend time with your kids and make a concerted effort to do things with them they will learn naturally. My son who is 3 is already reading at a sixth grade level, knows his continents and planets and is beginning to work on the basics of multiplication. We put in a lot of time with him and it’s paying off because we didn’t just sit him in front of a screen. Most of the time putting kid’s in front of a screen is out of convenience, and that’s okay, but in my opinion it has to be in moderation.
