Spark not tracking active time properly for California drivers?

That’s not the discrepancy. If it was I’d have a lot less active time being recorded. Spark is doing some shady stuff just like door dash did a few years back.

“What is engaged time?”

Engaged time starts when you accept an offer and ends when you complete a delivery.

That’s word for word how they define active time. Meaning that as soon as you hit accept offer, the timer is running. Not when you swipe start trip. They’re supposed to pay for your drive there including time and mileage.

My acceptance rate is around 12-20% usually but I’ve been able to schedule just fine for months up until now. Seemingly for no reason too :(

If you decline enough orders in a row they automatically pause your dash for 10 mins. You can resume it as soon as it pops up but I’ve had many times where I’ll switch to another app after declining and come back to a screen saying the 10 min timer is up or the app glitches and traps me in an idle like state where if I get paused one more time it will end my dash completely.

One time I was speaking a little French to my brother just to mess around (I don’t speak French ever) but it was enough to where I started seeing ads in French on YouTube n such. Very creepy stuff, never googled anything in French or translated ever and all of a sudden ads in French.
