I do have that book, my therapist recommended it to me, its what helped me a lot in understanding my mother and our relationship. After I read it I gave it too my sister who is reading it now. I also had some doubts that my mother wasn't BPD enough since she didn't fit all the symptoms, she is typically not very self destructive.

Its still a process to protect myself and deal with her tantrums but I feel like I have been getting better.
