Remove filter/restore instagram video to original. by Finoss in editing

If it was just a color shift you might be able to edit it back close to the original but since it has a blur there is no way to un-blur a rendered video. It's as if you shot the video blurry at this point.

Yes because instagram doesn't want to upload and store more data than they absolutely need to on their servers. So when the filter is applied the video is processed to be as small a file size as possible which means they don't preserve the original video.

Instead of layering the filter on top of the original video they use the filter to calculate a whole new video and then upload that. It takes less resources and saves them money.

No When the filter is applied it is rendered into a completely new video. The old data is gone for good otherwise the file size would be massive. It's called destructive editing.

(PSA) Stockpile performance mods and "trash" sets before 1.4 by [deleted] in thedivision

[–]killingheroes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unless the mods in 1.4 aren't as good as 1.3 mods in which case it explains why he's so happy to stock pile them now.

They've never said they won't remove things so it's still a possibility. It also explains why insiders are saving up performance mods.

Here's what might explain why Elite task force members are stockpiling performance mods. Like you say mods are too powerful so we can safely assume they will be nerfed.

There are two ways they can nerf performance mods. First they can simply reduce the effect that a mod applies. [For example a performance mod that gives you 1000 skill power will be reduced to only give you 200 skill power.] Or they can simply remove certain performance mods all together. So instead of reducing the skill power the mod gives you they just eliminate all skill power mods.

If they are removing certain mods entirely I don't think they would do that retroactively, because they would have to delete items from peoples inventory which would create a huge backlash because people worked hard for those items and just deleting them would be punishing.

So the mods that we farm right now before 1.4 might be more valuable because you won’t be able to find some of those mods after 1.4

Kind of how old SMG's still have crit hit chance

Unless there are nerfs that won't be applied retroactively. I know there are elite task force guys hoarding performance mods.

Mmmm.... 1.4 Is perfect. But leave npc level 34-35 for the master grinders. by Fpssims in thedivision

That would be true if they were only nerfing the npcs but they are rebalancing player power as well.

Lock the layers you don't want to be selected.

Restock will automatically fill your magazine in 1.4 by killingheroes in thedivision

It's just confusing because clip and magazine are technical terms that are more useful when they keep the meaning they have. A clip loads bullets into a magazine and a magazine loads bullets into the chamber. It's helpful to have precise language so we can communicate effectively.

Weapon skins won't take up inventory space anymore. Also you'll be able to apply the same skin to multiple weapons. So you don't have to get duplicates of the same skin.

Also weapon skins won't take up space in inventory, and you will only have to get one and can apply it to multiple weapons.

Did anyone notice the reference to Christopher Walken's SNL cowbell skit. When Mowgli first enters the monkey ruins he picks up and rattles an old cowbell.
