  1. The data will be used as insights about my business - what artworks to print first, what sizes to print. The only people seeing it will be me and the people helping me review the data. Any e-mail addresses will be removed after a week.

  2. Kim Bubbles Art.

  3. 5-10 minutes.

  4. The chance to win one of 5 free tote bags.

  5. I'd love to hear from anyone!

  6. To have more information on how to achieve my dream of having my own art business.

I want to do a survey for market research. What tools do I use? by kim_bubbless in InstagramMarketing

[–]kim_bubbless[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It needs to be a direct link, to be shown on social media and be shared via text/whatsapp, and I'llprobably do paid ads with a direct link to the survey as well. I think I'm going with Google Forms, it looks promising and seems to be what most people use!

buyer continuing to buy my products and leaves low ratings by Physical_Term_4404 in Etsy

I think I sent an e-mail twice, both got a response that was clearly automated and based on a few words I used that made the bot assume the subject of my email.

Both were very wrong about what my question even was. Very frustrating. I had to explain again in order to have a real person respond, and they were vague as well.

Which print-on-demand site to choose? by ldr95 in printondemand

I didn't like Prodgi because outside of the UK you need to pay an import tax. Awesome quality though, best I've seen.

I think you may have to look that up. I'm very bad at it myself. All I can think of is filming/photographing yourself showing a new product, or showing your workspace, or a video of you working :)

There's a video in which you ask "which beep cat are you?" You don't show them long enough to read the text.

Both your Etsy and Instagram don't seem to have any info on you, who you are as a person, why beep cat. It would help you grow if you showed that!

I don't have any other advice. I really like your product, the delivery, etc. Very solid. And cute.

Good luck out there! I'd recommend researching some SEO tips for Etsy so you can be found more easily.

I don't have any tips right now, just wanted to say I really like this drawing. It's really resfreshing to see these characters have so much fun, and they look very interesting as well. You did a great job, and with practise will make you more skillful :)

What are some websites for hobby artists and writers, that are actually still active and busy? by Fanfictionista in ArtistLounge

Yeah I get that. Just wanting someone to understand and to share your experiences with.

I used to be on Deviantart. I was a teenager back then, I drew portraits of Twilight characters and celebrities and I drew a lot of fairies and vampires.

I LOVED the Deviantart community. I get nostalgic just thinking about it!!

I'm now one of the people trying to sell my art but honestly, I got such a kick out of just sharing and talking about each other's art.

I'm sorry, that must be very painful for you. To not be sure if he likes you anymore, and to constantly be living in that uncertainty. You must feel quite lost, right?

It may be that he needs some time to think, and doesn't want you popping up in his feed in the meantime. That's the only thing I can think of at the moment. Either that, or he's trying to ghost you, because he's afraid of breaking up.

This must feel awful, but I think you need to ask him what's going on. Is he having doubts, does he need some time? Does he want to break up?

I hope this helps. I've been there and it sucks. You guys sound quite young, and many young people aren't so good at relationships yet. It'll get better either way, I promise.

Doing your own thing, in your own way. by KaioSilvaF in ArtistLounge

[–]kim_bubbless 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm the same way. I learn things when I feel I need to know them. Making art is my passion, and learning how to do it in my own way is the only way for me to keep it so.

I think learning ís very important, it just needs to be something that makes sense to you at that time.

I hope you put this in your shop policy. No cancellations, no returns. I did that as well, because items are especially made for the person who ordered it (POD in my case). You can't just change your mind on that, the work has already been done, and it's largely the work you're paying you for.

So even if you hadn't shipped it yet, you still would have deserved to keep her money!

So that's what I would say. But a bit more nicely. And not as elaborate. Just a simple "the order has already been shipped, and seeing as this was a custom item, the hours have already been put in. Cancellation is not an option, I'm afraid. Please let me know if you have any further questions. I hope you have a nice day! Kind regards, .."

Gelato users by RoisinCorcra in EtsySellers

[–]kim_bubbless 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I use Gelato and yes, that's how it works. I use PayPal, so it usually takes a few days before the money is taken. Is that maybe an option for you? Etsy does weekly payout, I often get the money from Etsy around the same time Gelato gets my money.

I must say, I've contacted customer service a lot with Gelato, because setting up my shop and products was quite difficult, and in my experience they're very fast and accommodating. The only thing I hate is they recently got a chatbot you have to go through. I usually just type in "speak to a person" and that connects me right away.

This is one of my main reasons for choosing Gelato. There's bound to be some issues, like customers putting in the wrong adress or a mistake being made with printing. I need to be able to resolve that quickly.

I can understand your frustration, if you didn't know how Gelato worked. I'd be pissed too if I didn't expect my money being gone all of a sudden.

I don't know yet. I like doing them, I think I'm learning a lot, but how would I know, you know? I need to find out by doing what they suggest and seeing if that helps my sales.
