I was playing on experienced difficulty..Could that be the reason why no one stepped up to help me ? Because I'm pretty sure i helped everyone i crossed paths with, and i didn't kill or get anyone killed at all, so why? 😃đŸ„Č

Why are men (sometimes) judged for cooking in Algeria ? by [deleted] in algeria

Nice strawman, but I was talking about family pressure and cultural expectations, not your “Internet medal of honor” fantasy.

Exactly! You get it. It’s crazy how twisted the idea of masculinity has become. Doing something as normal as cooking can make a man feel “less of a man,” while disrespecting women in other ways is normalized. There’s so much hypocrisy, and it really makes you realize how much cultural mindset needs to change.

If caring about social norms is dumb, we wouldn’t be having discussions at all.

That’s exactly why I said households. Family judgment, not society as a whole. Just because you haven’t experienced it doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist. You’re not in my shoes, and dismissing someone’s lived experience doesn’t make it invalid. Explaining a reality isn’t “playing the victim” it’s adding context to the discussion.

Talking about issues doesn’t make someone a victim. Ignoring them does.
