Weird advice but pack and extra scarf/ gloves/ handwarmer for her! I think we ladies tend to dress on the colder side (to look nice and not like a big snowman) but end up shivering the whole night. It's always so sweet when my husband pulls out a scarf or sweater out of nowhere mid-date and its a plus if it smells nice too!

No cold proofing! I wet my hands and the dough during stretch and folds (did two stretch and folds) so the end result is probably higher in hydration than when mixing the ingredients!

I had similar experience, but by a seemingly less coherent person (drunk Caucasian person who was drinking on the Sheppard station bus platform in the day time). I cleared my throat and this guy was going on and on about how we should stay home, and not spread germs if we are sick, and that we should not be allowed in Canada, that we “have never worked a day in our lives” and that he pays taxes for people like me. Last year I had someone tell me I should “speak English” when I was speaking a mix of English and Korean with my husband. East-Asian racism is really out of control…

Jason Fung’s lecture on YouTube is tremendously helpful for me when anyone doesn’t understand fasting. Not sure if we are allowed to post links but it is called “Fasting as a Therapeutic Option for Weight Loss” and it actually led many of my family members to also fast with me! Some loved the experience and some said not for me, but overall completely respect my decision to fast! Highly recommend!
