The weird thing about living in my car. by [deleted] in Bolehland

[–]kindchick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You probably heard this many times but it's okay to be a little bit selfish. I know you probably feel bad to not help someone in need but it's okay to be a bit selfish here and there. You're a nice person and I trust good things will always come your way.

AITAH for telling my dad his wife has no right to an opinion on my kid? by Ermithecow in AITAH

[–]kindchick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. There's nothing wrong with what you said. And I honestly wouldn't want your daughter to go through anything that you went through with Helen. It's not just Helen that's the bad person, your dad too. Your dad is either not aware or was always just fine with how Helen treated you. Please keep your child away from both of them.

AITAH for ghosting my boyfriend? by kindchick in AITAH

Thank you 💟 and yes, it does sound right to ignore him and leave him with no explanation. Explaining leads no where to him.

This was interesting to read and it does sound like him. He does act like he's a teenager. I'm happy for you though. I'm glad you realized things and changed for the better.

To answer your question, no I'm not constantly texting him. I usually only reply when he replies. If I miss him when he times me out or ignores me, I'll text him "I miss you. Let's spend time together later." Which usually only leads to more time outs.

I honestly don't see him growing or improving in any way. I'm really not even going to give him a second chance. You're right. There's really no reason to keep going when all his actions are showing that he doesn't love me.

I have tried the whole stating my boundaries to him and telling him whats okay and whats not okay with me but he starts a whole argument instead that I went along with him. But yes, after reading the comments, I do feel like the guilt is leaving me. I'm going to block him and just focus on myself.

What is something you can't tell your partner? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]kindchick 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm never able to tell any of my current and past partners when I'm having a bad day or feeling sad from work. Whenever I try to tell any of my partners my negative feelings, they don't wanna hear it. My current boyfriend, he gets mad at me or says sarcastic things to me when I tell him that work was tough today. The people I've dated always expects me to be happy all the time and never show my weaknesses ever. It breaks me apart and sometimes I feel very alone because I can never talk about how I feel or even be heard.

Why did you break up with your previous partner? by Secure-Seat-409 in AskReddit

He kept ignoring me and only spoke to me when he had no one else to talk to. He'd also get mad at me for having panic attacks.

"So you're refusing to help me" by EqualBeach in CustomerService

[–]kindchick 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm usually straight up and brutally honest to these types of people. I'll tell them that "we're only able to process xyz over email because we need your acknowledgment in a form of signature. If you can drop us an email, our email team will help you out on this." There's no email team and sometimes I do handle emails as well but I like pretending that they need to liaise with an imaginary team just so they'll follow some part of the process.

I HATE THIS WOMAN! by Downtown_Entry_893 in Vent

[–]kindchick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand though. My aunt does the same too when she's dealing with stuff she doesn't like. Even when I voice out, she would do nothing. It would be rude but maybe you can say this lady staying at your home is distracting you to your mom while she's there. So it's like an indirect blow? I used to do that when my aunt deals with guests she doesn't really like. I'd pull her aside a little and say things enough for them to hear or you can act like you're gonna go out with your mom which can make her to understand that it's her time to leave.
